"Come inside. We can sit on the guest bed, and then you can tell me everything. I'll listen, as long as you promise to answer my questions after." Lukas said.
Raven stared looking dumbfounded, then slowly nodded. "Of course. I'm... more than glad you're willing to even listen to me."
Lukas bit his lip.
"I eavesdropped a bit." Lukas admitted. Then he clasped Raven's hands. "I promise you, you won't lose me. I'll be your friend, like I said, forever. Just, explain everything to me. And answer some of the questions I'm dying to know. That's all I ask."
Raven teared up. "You're not shitty, I am."
Lukas laughed. "Doubt that. Just come in. The bed's really soft, trust me."

As the two sat face to face on the bed, Raven explained everything.
He had been born as a vampire, just like Eun-sun, from his parents who were both pureblood, born vampires— not turned.
He was a pureblood vampire, a born vampire not turned, which meant he was stronger than turned ones.
He, like all other vampires, had enhanced senses, retractable fangs, enhanced speed and strength, instant healing, immortality (they can never die or age more after hitting adult hood), invulnerability, and a sense of charm to humans— just so he was appealing, but it didn't affect humans much.
"It just gives them a sense that I'm a good person, kinda? Like, it just makes them find me approachable. But then it doesn't affect anything. Honestly, I never know how someone will react to me. It's either good or bad. The instant charm isn't very useful— kinda annoying if random people come up to me." Raven was explaining.
Then he explained how he had been born in America, but his parents were born in Korea and were part of a vampire council. His brother was partially with the vampire group of Korea because he was born there.
His parents worked on assignments from the council in America, but then moved back to Korea when they were appointed as leaders of the council. That's when Eun-sun had turned sixteen.
He also explained once a born vampire turned 20, they would stop aging and remain that age, just staying that age. Matured vampires also would gain abilities— like teleportation, or telepathy, or maybe even ice manipulation even.
Eun-sun had already reached that point.
Then, if a vampire, like his parents, had kids then they would stopped aging but their features would age until they were in their mid-thirties or forties.
If not, then they would just remain twenty-looking.
He also explained how myths about vampires were fake. Vampires could exist just like humans— they were okay with silver and the sun, and human food. He also explained vampires stayed immortal after maturing, and they also couldn't die.
However the issue was vampires still had feelings and could feel emotionally hurt and injured. Vampires could also get injuries physically, but they would instantly heal. Plus, it was literally impossible for a vampire to die.
He then explained briefly about turned vampires. They were weaker than born ones, but still stronger physically than humans. When turned, they stay forever the age they were turned. But unlike born vampires, since they are weaker, they can die, but revive after a few hours. They can get injured fatally— and they don't have any sort of instant healing powers and have to suffer through the pain for a while like normal humans. They are immortal and live forever like born vampires, but they don't gain any powers since they can't actually 'mature' like born vampires.
"...and that's it." Raven finished off.
Lukas took a second to take it all in and process everything.
"So, you're a vampire. And so are your parents and also Eun-sun." He stated.
Raven nodded.
"And all those times, I saw red on you and Eun-sun's clothes... It was blood?" He asked.
Raven nodded sheepishly. "Yeah. But, like we couldn't just tell you it was blood because you would freak out."
Lukas nodded.
"Alright, and have you ever... killed a human?"
Raven looked mortified. "Of course not!"
"Good. Then, have you ever drank from one?" He asked.
"No... I..." Raven cleared his throat.
Raven explained how he got nauseous from human blood (and Lukas realized that was why the dark haired boy had reacted to his blood at the ice cream shop so badly) and he had never drank from a human before, only wild hunted animals like deer or rabbit.
"It's like, I can't even stand the smell of human blood. I can faintly smell the blood of humans and it's fine, just like you're smelling iron somewhere. Just faint. It smells good, the blood, when it's inside the body and I'm closer. But when it's out, it smells like... like too sweet and it makes my head hurt and it's just... too much. It overstimulates everything. Then every fiber in my body panics back, and I get sick and all nauseous." He said.
Lukas felt a huge sense of relief, even having seen it in person. Honestly though, he would never forget the pain in Raven's eyes when he had smelled Lukas' blood.
And it kinda hurt a little bit. Lukas didn't know why.
"What about my blood?" He blurted out.
Raven frowned. "It's the same. It's nauseating. So... like, you don't have to worry about me wanting to feed on you, if that's why you're asking."
"Oh, right."
Lukas cleared his throat. "Now that I know you and Eun-sun are vampires, I hope you guys will let me trust you more. I plan on still remaining friends with you. If that's okay."
Raven stared at him, incredulous. "Of course! I want to be friends with you, but I didn't know if you still wanted to be."
Lukas smiled. "Best friends forever?"
Raven grinned back. "Best friends forever."
