Lukas was simply chilling the guest room the Gwon brothers had given him as his temporary room in their house, just while he was living with them.
Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately?) his mother had not called him or come barging at the Gwon mansion door. Maybe she didn't know where he had gone. Or she didn't notice he had even snuck out and was gone. Or perhaps she simply didn't care about her son's wellbeing.
Not that he was worrying about his mother being worried about him.
The real issue was that Lukas was bored.
Sadly, with the weekends rolling in and both Raven and his brother went hunting (apparently they went every weekend when they both didn't have school/work) out in the forests near their mansion.
Conveniently (or have it had been built there on purpose), their house was at the edge of the town, meaning a thick forests clouded up the area behind their mansion.
But anyway, Raven was out hunting all day, having already disappeared after Lukas had a simple cereal breakfast with him.
So he had spent the rest of the day watching TV (who knew guest rooms had TVs installed in them?), went to read off of Raven's bookshelves, gamed a little on Raven's computer, rolled around on the floor (no, don't question it), and even had went to self-tour the Gwon house, hoping the brothers wouldn't mind.
I mean, he had asked for Eun-sun's permission before the older left, if he could look around the house later on. And Eun-sun had given him permission. He'd also asked Raven if he could read from his shelves and use his game room. Raven had also (reluctantly) given permission.
It wasn't like he was sneaking around.
When midnight rolled around, Lukas was not asleep yet. He couldn't sleep. As he heard the familiar sound of the front door opening and the little tune, he jumped out of bed, and crept down the hallway. He snuck down the stairs, hoping to surprise Raven and Eun-sun.
And...
Raven stood there, like he had been expecting him.
"You're so loud for someone who wanted to sneak up on me." The boy laughed.
"How—"
Ah, he had enhanced senses. Of course he'd hear me from a mile away. Lukas cursed.
Raven let out a laugh.
"Nice try, sweetie. No one can sneak up on a vampire. Well unless you're a vampire yourself."
Lukas pouted.
"Hey, I tried, okay? And why are you back so late?" He whined.
"Aw, were you waiting for me all this time? That's so adorable~" Raven cooed.
"Wasn't..." Lukas grumbled, although now that he thought about it, the real reason he'd been too restless to sleep was that he knew the Gwon brothers weren't back.
"We just covered a lot of ground and it took us a while to get back. That's all, so don't worry. Now you two go get some sleep." Eun-sun said, herding them both upstairs.

It was how it went for the rest of the week. The two weekends, Raven and Eun-sun were barely seen. Then when school rolled around, Lukas came downstairs to find Raven and Eun-sun at the kitchen table, sipping blood bags.
"I'm sorry, but like— Ew." Lukas made a face.
Raven laughed. "If you're going to live with us, get used to all the blood and vampire-ness."
