Han burst into my studio, "Robin!!!"

I jumped about ten feet off of my piano bench with fright, "what the fuck Is wrong with you?! You scared the shit out of me hannie!"

He rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly, "sorry baby!"

I rolled my eyes, motioning for him to come join me on the piano bench, "what did you need?"

He sat next to me gesturing excitedly, "did you see the behind the scenes that just got posted?!"

I sighed and rolled my eyes at him, "don't you have a song to write or something?"

He glared at me, "I'm done so much today!!"

I smiled, leaning against him, "I'm sure, you all have been working so hard."

He shook his head, directing the topic back to the vlog, "so you haven't seen it?"

I laughed, "babe, I haven't consumed any media that wasn't music related in weeks."

He pulled it up on his phone, "you are in it!!"

I smiled, "oh they posted hyunjins lesson!"

He nodded, "yes, but like, you are in it in it!"

I raised an eyebrow at him.

He sighed, "just watch!"

He wasn't lying, I was in it in it. They left me teasing Hyunjin playfully in the video, they left my piano arrangement of maniac in it, they left me singing the song as an example in it, they left me harmonizing with hyunjin, me comforting him, challenging him, being strict with him, complimenting him. They even left me saying 'fuck it we ball' in (although censored).

I raised an eyebrow, "none of the other staff have ever gotten this much screen time... I wonder what they are scheming..." I trailed off.

Jisung just shook his head at me, "why are you always so cynical? Stay's already liked you, but they are straight up falling in love with you right now."

I scrolled through the YouTube comments.

It's no surprise, she literally is a vocal coach at one of the biggest entertainment companies, but she can really sing

I've never heard hyunjin sound like this, it's stunning

She's literally so gorgeous

Wtf she's so funny I want to see more of her

It's so crazy how the simplest instructions improve the way he sang it so much, I thought he sounded gorgeous the first time, but when she was done with him he was a whole new person

I've never actually heard her play before, she's insane

I don't know if I want to be her or hyunjin

She's actually such a good teacher

Dude, I knew she could sing but like, I didn't know she could SING

I looked up at him with wide eyes, a light dusting of pink settled over my cheeks, "what do I do I'm embarrassed."

He laughed, pinching one of my ears lightly, "you join whoever goes live next and say thank you."

I look down, "I'm not built for this kind of thing, it's why I stopped performing. I'll say something weird and they will get mad."

He held me close and kissed the side of my head, "you are perfect, no matter what you say or do. Think it over. Okay?"

I nodded, "okay."

Three days later, I was anxiously sat on a couch with hyunjin and Changbin. I was to their left, they had their fingers intertwined and I was struggling not to touch them as I waited for the live to start.

In the three days since the video was posted a couple things had happened, 'fuck it we ball' had become a meme with stay's, stays were demanding both that I be in more skz related content and that I release music. Lastly I had been called into a meeting with Mr. Jyp himself where he told me that they were going to include me more, in vlogs, behind the scenes, lives, ect. He also assured me I would be properly compensated for any extra work.

Which is how I ended up here, bouncing my leg so hard the couch was shaking.

Changbin put a hand on my thigh to stop me and I about jumped out of my skin. He squeezed lightly, "babe, the live doesn't start for a couple more minutes. We haven't even turned the camera on, it's okay. You are gonna be great."

I nodded stiffly, "sorry, I'm just nervous I'll give something away, about us you know..."

He kissed the back of my hand, "don't worry, once the camera is on we will be very friendly, and nothing more."

He pulled away, "you ready?"

I nodded again.

He turned the camera on and got everything going, we had gentle small talk while waiting for people to join.

Once satisfied with the amount of people hyunjin spoke, "hi~ we just wanted to talk for a while, and we have a special guest!"

I waved lightly, "Hi, stay! I've been on lives before briefly, but I'm still quite nervous so please be kind to me!" I joked around far more lightheartedly than I felt.

But once I got settled into the rhythm it was honestly really fun and relaxing. We answered questions, joked around, played games and I was even convinced to sing a bit.

When It was over I slid down the couch, "that was fun but I'm so tired."

Changbin stole a kiss from me, "it is a bit mentally tiring isn't it? But you get used to it, and it becomes quite fun."

I sighed, "they all want to hear music, my music, but I literally can't show them. Not till my contract is up."

Hyunjin scooped me up off the floor and held me close to him on the couch, "I know... maybe the amount of demand for your music will inspire a change in your contract?"

I shrugged, "maybe... but even if it did I don't know how I feel about performing again. I don't think I'm cut out for it."

"Do you like performing?" Changbin asked softly.

I sighed, a small smile ghosting over my lips, "I love it, more than anything. In college it was all I ever wanted to do. I went to every open mic night on the east coast. There is nothing like the feeling right after you finish a set and you know you did well, and the anxiety drops away and you are left with that blissful hazy feeling.

I knew they knew what I meant, the look in their eyes as the recounted their own performances told me so.

Hyunjin kissed my cheek, "then you need to perform. It doesn't matter if you think you are cut out for it or not. If you love it you need to do it."

I looked down, "well, I can't right now anyway."

He lifted my chin up, "soon," and he kissed me softly.
