"...older than us. He's in the club doing, I don't know what. You're so cool..."
"No, no. Wait, wait--" I immediately stepped outside the trailer, "All right, I can hear you now. Can you repeat what you said?"
"Fashion Awards for Armani, is it best to do it on... Fifth of November?"
"Fifth of November?" I repeated, "Shoot, Blanchett has an event on that." I whispered while quickly opening my notebook and shifting on the recent notes I had written, "Uhm, Ms. Blanchett isn't available for..." I read the list, 'Roman's award,' 'Edith's PTA meeting,' 'Faúre Christmas Carol Concert...' I clicked my tongue as my knitted eyebrow went further, "She isn't available for two weeks. So probably... the third week of November? Eighteen? Can we work on that?"
Silence.
"Hold on."
While waiting for her response, I momentarily sat on the little stairs with my phone on my shoulder. I glanced back at my notebook and turned on the page of our full schedule for the whole month.
"Twenty... Wait, no-Apologies, we could settle in November twenty-one, perhaps?"
"...Alright, we can do that," I repeated while quickly writing it in. "So, November twenty-one, that's thursday...Is it possible we could do it around, maybe, morning this time? If we can?"
"Yup! That's perfect."
"Great!" I replied, relieved that we had finally settled on a date, "...I'll inform you right away if any changes happen," I stated. A little bit far from here, I saw Max gesturing me to come. I gave him furrowed eyebrows and stood up, "Thank you for always being flexible, really."
"No, worries! I'll e-mail you about the details later."
"Sure, sure. I'll be waiting." I said while I approached Max, "Thank you again, Tin. Goodbye." After wrapping the call, I fastened my pace and shouted, "What?"
"Look over there," Max whispered in an excited tone while pointing somewhere, "I haven't seen him until today."
"Him? What him?" I leaned over a little with squinted eyes, looking over the crowd of extras in the street as the camera rolled, "All I see are women."
"No. The camera guy!" Max exclaimed, and there, I saw the guy he was referring to, "He's a cutie, right?"
"Eh..." I frowned when I finally saw his face, "He looks like... he's not interested in you."
He slaps my arm, "Don't hurt my feelings."
I shrugged, "Buddy, I'm just saying facts here."
Three months, but what happened recently feels like it's been so long since our visit to Italy. I could say it's the busiest months than ever, both in our job as well as the things we have to sort out. Hylda already knows about my crazy stalker, and adding that Cate and I kind of went public, we were advised to stay lay low than we already do. When Cate was doing a promotional interview, maybe two months ago? It was expected that they would be asking about us, which they actually did, and Cate handled it like a pro.
"I mean, first of all... I don't think that is a sensitive topic cause we really didn't hide our relationship together." Cate responds to the interviewer's question, "It's a sort of a low profile. Low-key, like people would say, right?" She asks, and the guy agrees with her. "...And reaction, you said? We are genuinely grateful and appreciate the support we're receiving. Yeah, It's really heartwarming that people take it positively."
