ZAYN

This woman was breathtaking. Everything about her seemed so delicate and soft and I just wanted to protect her from the world. Cornelia smiled at me again. That kiss was amazing who knew someone as sweet looking as her would be able to kiss with such a fiery passion? Again, she continued to surprise me.

“I’m so sorry I got carried away. Did I hurt you?” Cornelia moved closer and placed a hand on my lips tracing it lightly. I shook my head and smiled.

“No. In fact do you mind if I do that again?” I smiled broadly.

Cornelia shook her head and brought my lips to hers again. This time I gave it all I had. My injuries weren’t as bad as she perceived it to be and I deepened the kiss gently probing her mouth with my tongue. Cornelia let out a moan of appreciation and melted against my arms. This was getting out of control. She was like my new found drug and I just couldn’t get enough. Cornelia climbed into my lap which surprised me but I welcomed her and wrapped my arms around her waist drawing her closer.

“Oh my God.” Someone spoke softly from the door.

Cornelia turned around and instantly climbed off my lap and flushed a scarlet color. The woman stared at us for a second.

“I’m so sorry.” She muttered on her way out.

The moment the girl went out we looked at each other and laughed out right.

“That was so embarrassing.” Cornelia said placing a hand on his forehead.

“I think she recognized us both.” I laughed.

“Does your face still hurt?” She placed a soft hand on my cheek and caressed it gently.

“No, how about we get out of here?” I asked without thinking. Cornelia stopped and placed her hand back down on her lap.

“I don’t know. I haven’t done this before.” She said casting her eyes down.

So I was right she was as naïve and innocent as she seemed to be. But behind that I knew there was a lioness waiting to be unleashed. I didn’t know her whole story but I do know she wasn’t the type of girl to have one night stand.

“I promise you I’ll be there the next morning.” I said taking her hand in mine.

“I can’t promise you the same.” She said.

Wasn’t that supposed to be my line?

“Why?” I asked breathlessly.

“I don’t want to make any commitments right now. All I can give you is one night.” She smiled sheepishly.

One night was better than nothing right? If it meant waking up in the morning all alone with the memory of Cornelia Dagenham I’d take it. Plus at this point in my life I didn’t want a commitment too it would ruin my whole career.

“I can deal with that.” I smiled. Cornelia got up and pulled me to my feet.

“No commitments.” She extended her hand for me to shake. I shook it lightly with a smile.

This was every man’s dream. We held each other’s hand and went out the door to the party. As usual our ears adapted to the booming noise.

“Hey! Zayn!” Louie came up beside me sluggishly.

“Whoah, what the hell happened to you?” Harry said also walking towards me.

“Long story, I have to go.” I said urgently. Cornelia waved her hand at them.

“Oh my god, I know you.” Harry said.

“Hi, Cornelia Dagenham.” She let go of my hand and extended it towards Harry.
