Chapter 20 *the end*

Leaving was pretty much the easy part, staying here ... well this is the hard part. It's like every atom of my body drawns me back home, back to Michael and I don't understand how I can love him so much ... I can't move on. I just can't ... and it sucks.

Today I'm supposed to go to my high school graduation and I know it in my heart that if I will go there, I'm not gonna come back here.
"So are you coming?" my roommate,Gia, asks me. I snap back from my thoughts and give her a confused look.
"Karaoke night, remember? tonight? or you're having second thoughts? " she asks leaning slightly her head in the right side.
"No. uhm, I'm not having second thoughts. I'm definitely coming." I smile standing up from my bed.
"You're sure? Don't you wanna be there for your graduation though ?" she's just like salt on a open wound.

"Yeah ... it will be fun." I lie. I know today will suck no matter what. my mind won't be here ...
"I'm just gonna take a shower and then we can do whatever you want. I'm all yours." I smile referring to her friends. I made a promise I'll go out more with them, because all I do since I came here is think of Michael, studying and think of Michael.

"Okey. suit yourself." she smiles back and I go out. You should be driving your car to your home town right now .. what are you doing? hiding here ... going to karaoke ... can you be more pathetic that this? my inner thoughts are tormenting me.

I go in the shower and wash my hair and body.
When I go back in my dorm room I see Gia styling Iris' long blonde hair.
"Don't just stand there. Get dressed, you're next." Gia likes to boss around and it kinda suits her. She has a beautiful tanned skin and her hair and eyes are so dark and perfect. She's tall and if she wouldn't be so ...energetic, I would love her very much.

I roll my eyes playfully and smirk. "Why such a fuss for a karaoke night?" I ask.
"Well ... not just karaoke. You definitely need a club ..so we're gonna take you to one." she wiggles her brows and I shake my head looking down at the pair of black jeans and the randon shirt I picked from my drawers.

I laugh still shaking my head. "oh, no. I'm not going anywhere." I smile jumping in my bad.
"Well you made a promise and I take it you're a woman of her word so chup chup. Go put a dress on you." she claps her hands in a demanding tone.
"Chup chup? really ... you're getting funny by the minute." I laugh taking off my shirt.

"Shut up." she laughs "I like to say chup chup, it means hurry up." she tells me.
"I know what chup chup means." I turn to face her with a serious expression.
"Yeah ... you clearly know, by the way the lazy snail ran passed you.. we totally see you understood." she jokes and Iris laughs along me.

"You're crazy if you think I'll wear a dress." I smile.
"She's crazy anyway. Come on, is gonna be girls' night and we're gonna have so much fun. Pleaseeee go get dressed and make yourself pretty ... not that you're not already pretty .. but just brush your hair and you know... the rest .. come on .. please please pleasee." Iris is making a puppy face and is she wasn't so adorable and I wasn't in this Michael situation ... I wouldn't have done it.

Here I am ... dressed in a pretty skanky dress.. not really, but it really highlights my boobs and butt, all touched up and my hair in loose curls.
"You're so beautiful. Perfect. " Gia smiles I have to admit. I really like it.

"Yeah ..but I'm hungry." I whine not eating too much today and it's 7 pm.
"Okay, then we'll go get something to eat and well .. let the fun begin." Iris says and I smile following them to Gia's car. I see there Lexi Andrea and Nicole also waiting on us.
"We'll drive my car and you fo with Gia." Lexi says and they all nod.

Well staying and listening to everyone talking and telling stories of each other helped me a little to forget about my home.. in a way ... because on the other hand all I could think of was how normal these girls lived and how screwed up my life is.
