Chapter 11

"Where are you going?" Hailee asks looking up from her phone

"Getting coffee with Emma" I reply taking my phone from the dresser

"Oh alright" she says "text me when you get there" I make my way there kissing her lips. Both of us smiling into the kiss.

"I will" I smile pulling away

"Bye my love" Hailee smiles as I exit the bedroom

"Bye" I whisper closing the door and rushing downstairs

As I'm walking down the street my phone rings. Looking down I notice my brother is calling me. Smiling I pick up the phone.

"Hey sis"

"Hello mister I proposed to my grilfriend and didn't tell my sister" I laugh hearing him laugh as well

"Hey don't blame me, you and Emma are close I couldn't risk it" he says with a slight chuckle

"True, true" I smile

"Anyway I hear you have a girlfriend. Is that true?" Jay asks with seriousness in his voice

"I-uhm yeah it's true" I hesitantly answer

"Really? I have to meet her. Let's just hope she isn't like the last one" he says murmuring the last part

"Jay I broke up with Sadie. It wasn't her fault" I defensively say

"Yeah, yeah whatever" he sighs

I look around noticing the Caffè where Emma is supposed to meet me.

"Listen Jay, I'll call you back. I'm getting coffee with your fiancée" I smile

"Alright by sis"

"By bro" I smile hanging up the phone and slipping it back in my pocket. I push the door open, hearing a bell go of to signal someone entered the caffee.

I look around noticing Emma siting at one of the corner tables. She smiles at me. I flash a smile at her before brushing past people to get to her.

"Hey girl" She says pulling me in her embrace

"Hey" I say as we pull away. I pull out one of the chairs and sit down facing Emma

"So you and Hailee?" She asks as a smile tugs on my lips

"Yeah..." I mumble scratching the back of my neck nervously

"That's good. I mean she seems like a great girl" Emma says

"She is" I look up smiling at her

"God you're so in love with her already" Emma chuckles making me laugh

"Enough about me" I state "How did Jay propose?"

"Okay so he was being all secretive for like a month.. and then one day he was like let's go have a picnic" she pauses smiling "and when we got there we had like a view of the city. And he just did it I guess... It was so beautiful Y/n" The smile on her face grows even bigger as she reflects on the night.

"That's amazing Ems. I guess my brother can be romantic" I shrug laughing

"Oh trust me he can" the blonde smirks

"What can I get you guys?" A voice next to us says. Emma and I snap our heads seeing the waitress standing there with a pen and a notepad

"Can I have a cappuccino please?" I smile at the waitress and she nods writing it down

"And for you ma'am?" She smiles at Emma

"Can I have a black coffee please?" Emma smiles

"Coming right up guys" The waitress smiles walking away
