The '-ing' form in Italian
In Italian we often ask others things and reply with the '-ing' from, such as 'What are you playing?" 'I'm working" etc.
How it works + 'stare'
Unlike English in which we tend to use 'to be'+'-ing form of verb', in Italian you conjugate the verb 'stare'+-the 'ndo form' of a verb.
Stare means 'to stay/remain/be doing' and is conjugated as follows:
