The moon was quickly coming down towards the server, blocks started floating and players did as well. Grian started hearing a voice in his head, this was the first time this has happened.

Dear Xelqua
I have never prayed to you before but my server is in danger, please protect it from the moon, just enough so I have time to open a portal, it will only take a week.
Please?

The parrot quickly recognized the voice, it was from his admin, Xisuma, to his Watcher self. He knew that some Watchers received prayers but he never expected to receive any.

He could feel the prayer fueling his Watcher magic, so he decided to use that magic to try and slow down the moon. It didn't help that much, but the prayers kept coming and every day he kept on slowing the moon down, using his watcher magic felt nice, but some void black feathers had started appearing on his wings so he had to pluck them out, which hurt a bit.

Some days later the portal was done and Grian heard a quick 'thank Xelqua' from the admin before they all jumped inside the portal.

Grian flinched as he heard another prayer from his own admin in his head.

Dear Xelqua,
Please protect the server and its inhabitants from danger, last season the moon was coming towards the server, but then it slowed down, was that you? If so, thank you.

It was a bit awkward because sometimes he didn't know if he heard Xisumas voice in his head or in real life. The watcher was also scared he was going to disappoint X when he finds out he has been worshiping one of his own players. But those were problems for future Grian.

It was the start of Season 9 and the server was having a meeting and sat down in peace, for once not being in war.

"Do you guys believe in gods? Or just higher ups that protects us?" Cleo asked and Xisuma looked at her.
"Yeah, why are you asking?"

"Well, last season, it was like the moon was going to crash into our server before you opened the portal, but then it was like the moon slowed down and there was just enough time" she continued and Xisuma nodded.

"Well, I'm not sure, but I believe in the Watchers" he said and Pearl scoffed.
"You think that's funny Pearl?"
"No, I hate the Watchers, they took my old servers admin"

"Oh, I'm sorry, but I have not chosen a bad Watcher"
"Oh, tell me more" Pearl said, intrigued that there existed other Watchers than bad ones.

"Well, his name is Xelqua and he was forced to become a Watcher, he would do anything to protect his friends and lastly escaped the Watchers, for me he stands for freedom and for protection" X continued and Grian cringed, he was not free, he was running away.

"Oh, well he sounds pretty cool, I'd like to learn more Shashwammy" Keralis said and X smiled a bit, it was odd talking about his faith.

"Well, Voidwalkers grow up worshipping Watchers, I never really liked them, but chose Xelqua as he didn't seem bad, I only started to pray to him last season just when the moon slowed down, so I think my prayers worked"

"You prayed to him and then the moon slowed down? I don't think that's a coincidence" Tango stated and the voidwalker shrugged.

"Maybe, maybe not" He said, but his story had made an impact on some of the hermits, which led to some of them starting to worship Xelqua as well, and some just picked up his name as a curse word, Grian would hear random hermits yell out 'For Xelquas sake' and if he was alone he would focus an eye on them to see what was going on, most of the times they had exploded something or was dying.
