The Watcher yanks his elytra off and unfolds his real wings, the wings were as white as quartz in his player-form, which he preferred over the void and purple-colored wings his Watcher form had. As the wind brushed through his dirty blonde, his mind wanders. How could Herobrine get access to this version of Minecraft? He was supposed to be stuck in alpha! The time he had spent with the Watchers was finally about to prove useful as they had learned about Herobrine, his powers and how they worked. He had always been a threat to the Watchers visiting earlier versions of Minecraft. Because of his power, a lot of the eyed creatures could easily be overpowered. Grian knew he at least had a chance as both Watcher and admin magic were coursing through his veins.

The flier reached spawn and saw a group of hermits standing a small distance from the Steve, standing still as a statue. Grian landed in the space between them and folded his wings in on his back. A diamond sword was quickly raised and pointed towards the seemingly weaponless man.
"Why are you here?" Grian asked but no reply came. The avian waited for a few seconds before he decided the other wasn't going to speak. "How are you here? Aren't you supposed to be stuck in Alpha, Herobrine?" The Watcher asked, spitting out the name of the being in front of him as if it were venom.
As soon as the name had been said the few hermits that had gathered took a step back and Herobrine finally lifted his head, revealing his glowing eyes to the rest as well.

"Aren't you a smart little player?" He asked with an evil grin plastered on his face, then his smile faded as he began to speak. "And yes, I am supposed to be in Alpha, but with the help of one server that travelled through the different versions of Minecraft with portals, I just had to follow the admin, whenever he entered a portal, and slowly but steadily I made my way up the different versions. Evolution SMP was such a blessing to me." The shocked group of hermits behind them had drawn their weapons and now stood side by side with the blond, everyone had heard of the legendary SMP Evolution, the admin had been presumed dead years ago as it had been years since the server was destroyed, other members had been quick to show up, spread across all kinds of different servers, but no sign of the one to have created the server, the most powerful admin.

Grian felt as if everything was in slow-mo. He was the reason Herobrine was here. It was all his fault. Grian's wings tensed and his arm with the sword raised slowly fell weak down by his side again as Herobrine kept talking.

"And now I'm going to slowly take my revenge on Minecraftia, killing server by server - starting with this one" A wicked laugh escapes him, a faint lightning strike could be seen and a few seconds later, thunder sounded. Panic ensued as the Hermits yelled in fear, Xisuma typed a frantic message on his communicator, hoping that the more hermits were there, the better chance at survival they all had.

Xisuma: [EVERYONE TO SPAWN NOW!]

Grian knew that he had to protect the others as he had the best knowledge of them all about Herobrine, he was the most powerful of them and it. Was. All. His. Fault. As he stepped in front of the others, he felt a hand grab his arm, his head whipped around and stood face to face with Xisuma.
"Grian! What do you think you're doing?"

"I'm trying to protect you" came the reply from the smaller hermit
"It's not your responsibility to protect this server, I'm the admin here!" Xisuma stated with a tone in his voice that made it clear that it was not up to debate. A yawn sounded which brought their attention back to the threat in front of them. A diamond sword had appeared in his hand, cackling with lightning. He lunged towards the two in front of him and Grian pushed both himself and his admin out of the way of the sword, his admin was unscathed, but the sword had hit his wings and sent lightning through the feathers and down his spine. The blonde screeched in pain and fell to the ground with a metallic taste in his mouth. With heavy breaths he gathered himself and stood up again, but was yet again stopped by the admin. "Grian don't! This is not your battle to fight, this is my server to defend - it's my duty as an admin" this time Xisuma grabbed the blonde and pulled him out of the way as lightning struck where they had just been standing and electricity coursed through the air making their hair bristle.

"This is all my fault!" he yelled at his admin who let go of him.

"No! It's not your fault! How could this ever be your fault?" oblivious. He was just oblivious as to what Grian had been through, what he had created, and what he had destroyed.
"You don't get it! I CREATED EVO!" The Watcher yelled back, ignoring the piercing stares from the hermits and the infamous legend in front of him.
"You did what!?" A yell came from somewhere among the hermits and Grian closed his eyes before turning to face the flying Herobrine.
"Yeah... so now I'm fixing my mistake" The Watcher takes off the ground with a sword in his hand, he flies up to the other man and their swords clashes, causing embers to fly from the collision. Both men flew away by the pure force their weapon held and Herobrine sent lightning and fire towards his opponent who with ease blocked the attack with a magic shield.

The fight lasts for a long time - far too long for any of the hermits liking, they had no choice but to watch as their friend fought the eldritch being myths and legends had warned them about their entire life.
