Grian Oneshots

✮ Bound by Blood ✮

A/N
TW: Fight, death, vampire bites, near death, stabbing, blood, angst ig? (Maybe, I'm not good at writing angst, but there's fluff at the end)

-Grian is a parrot-hybrid, Mumbo is a vampire (everyone on the server knows)
-Vampires does have a reflection in mirrors that are not made of silver
-Vampires need blood to survive, it could be animal blood and does not need to be human blood, but animal blood is bitter and human blood is sweet.
-Drinking vampire blood (as a vampire) can provoke nausea.
-Vampires heal very fast, their skin is very pale (as they're technically dead, that's also why they don't have a heartbeat) their eyes are red (all of the time) they have fangs (ofc) they're strong and they're a bit faster than humans and have faster reflexes.
-All events in this are purely platonic

-Also, when Grian is in Watcher form, his name is Xelqua, and not Grian.

Grian put away his blocks as it was turning dark, he had finally worked a bit on the back if his base, and now he needed a break. He wanted to find someone to talk to, but who would be awake now? everyone else was probably asleep, then Grian remembered his best friend, Mumbo Jumbo, he was a vampire.

Everyone had been worried when Mumbo had been gone from the server for a long time and even after he came back, he had started pulling away, never really going out in the day, then he had revealed that he was a vampire and everyone was shocked.

Grian was actually feeling bad because he hadn't really been talking with Mumbo since then, he had just been very busy, he didn't want Mumbo to think he was scared of him.

The parrot had actually noticed that many of the other hermits had taken distance to Mumbo, maybe not on purpose as everyone cared about the mustached man, but distance nonetheless.

He flapped his wings and took off, flying over his base and to Mumbos vault. He tried to open the door but couldn't find the button, so he flew up to the roof and broke some of the class.

Grian fell down into the vault and landed right in front of Mumbo who revealed his fangs, and hissed while jumping back in shock, his red eyes widening.

"Hey Mumbo" Grian chimed in his cheerful voice and shot him a wide smile.
"Grian! You scared me" Mumbo said and stretched his hand out for Grian to grab.

Grian smiled again and grabbed the hand, he quickly took it to him again as Mumbo was very cold. Mumbo looked hurt and took his arm back.
Grian got up by himself. "Hey Mumbo..."
"What." The taller man replied with a harsh tone.
"I'm sorry for pulling away like that, I just hadn't expected you to be that cold..." Grian locked eyes with Mumbo. "I'm not afraid of you Mumbo Jumbolio" he said and grinned, Mumbo smiled back, and Grian tackled him with a hug.

"You'll always be my best friend, no matter what" Grian reassured the vampire who smiled a big smile with pointy teeth.
"You sure Gri? Just tell me the truth"
"I could never be afraid of my bff!" The small man beamed and Mumbo smiled, Grian hugged the redstoner who embraced the builders hug as well.

"Oh yeah, the reason I came here was because I hadn't talked to you in a long time and I didn't want you to think I was avoiding you"
"Oh, did you want anything?"
"Well since its night, do you wanna go for a walk?"
"Sure thing G, where to?"
"I don't know, I just wanna walk around and talk to my friend"
"Sure, let's go" the vampire replied with a sharp smile.

The two friends walked out of the base (through the door this time) and walked for a bit, until Grian tried to fly while carrying a Mumbo, before the smaller could even rake off, they both ended up falling on top of each other while both were laughing hysterically.

"You're so heavy Mumbo!" The parrot yelled.
"No, you're just small!" Mumbo wheezed and the avian joined in on the laughing.
"Can we go on top of the rocks? I wanna sit and stare at the night sky" Grian asked, pointing at his base, and the taller smiled, before taking off with the elytra, the watcher following suit.
