"Nononononono"

That was all Grian could say when he saw the Watcher portal at spawn and his admin, and friend, in the hands of a Watcher, with a mask on, a watcher mask.

The blonde concentrated his magic and pushed the Watcher standing with Xisuma into the portal again.

Then he closed the portal and ran up to the newly turned Watcher. X fell into his arms as he was unconcious, which was probably for the best as growing the wings was very painful and Grian could already see them starting to grow, none of the other hermits had moved from where they were standing, probably out of fear as Watchers looked like something from a nightmare.

"Can anyone help me please?" Grian yelled and suddenly the others got to moving, Scar and Keralis helped move Xisuma to the parrots mansion.

He was laid down on his stomach on a bed and some other hermits stayed around to help brew some healing and regeneration positions.

A couple of minutes into brewing the potions a pair of wings grew out of the voidwalkers back. Scar looked in awe at the wings and Keralis' eyes widened even more than before.

Grian collected the potions and forced them into X's mouth, he now removed the mask as the mask made the wing-growing less painful because it made him more powerful, but now it would just make the magic even harder to control.

An hour of potion brewing later and Xisuma was finally awake, and purple magic was everywhere, X looked paniced and so did the rest of the hermits.

"Hey X, look at me and try and breathe slower, it should help you calm down and therefore your magic" Grian finally said and the newly turned tried to but failed and shook his head. "I can't!" he cried. "There's too much going on!" eyes was now opening around him.

"I know, alright, just try and calm down and it will be better" Grian replied and Xisumas eyes glowed purple, "you know!? You don't know anything about this! YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT IT IS LIKE BEING ONE OF THEM!" he yelled and his eyes glowed a brighter purple and magic sparked around his hand.

Grian felt magic tighten around his neck and then he was lifted up. He couldn't breathe, he tried to talk but couldn't.

The other hermits panicked and stared at X in horror as the parrot couldn't do anything, because of lack of air he couldn't even concentrate on his magic.

Just as black dots started dancing in his vision, X's eyes started flashing back to normal and then they were completely normal again, the parrot fell down to the floor, gasping after air.

The admin looked at his hands horrified and took a step back.
Scar was immediately over to see if Grian was alright while some of the others were shouting at the voidwalker.

"YOU ALMOST KILLED HIM! HE WAS JUST TRYING TO HELP YOU! YOU'RE JUST LIKE THE REST OF THE WATCHERS!" Cleos voice cut through and the parrot looked with pity at his admin, he knew how much the magic was affecting emotions and it was just so hard to control.

The admin got tears in his eyes and then disappeared, he must've teleported away.

Grian had finally gotten his breathing under control and the rest of the players around him looked at him, purple marks had appeared around his neck from where the magic had been affecting him.

"You almost died there Grian, are you alright?" Cleo asked with worry in her voice and Scar looked confused.

"Wouldn't he just have respawned? What's the big deal?"
"If you're killed by a Watcher the death is permanent, and as soon as that mask was on X, he became a Watcher"
"Oh" Scar said, only now becoming aware of the serious situation.
"Yeah I'm fine, but I gotta go" Grian quickly said and flew out of the front door.

In the air, he opened an eye and looked for Xisuma, he quickly found him in one of the world corners and changed his direction to find him.

He saw him, sitting with his knees up to his chest and his wings curled around his legs. As the admin wasn't paying attention, Grian landed pretty close by but the other didn't react.

As the parrot got closer he could hear that the older was crying.

"I'm a monster aren't I? I almost perma-killed him! One of my own players!? He must hate me now!" Xisuma muttered to himself, still not aware that Grian was walking closer to him.

The blonde was now just behind the new Watcher so he took another step and sat down beside him.

X shot his head up and looked in the other in fear, then he moved away from the parrot and looked down.
"Don't come near me! I'm a monster!" He cried and Grian gave him a little smile.
"I don't think you're a monster X" he said and moved closer to the other.

The admin looked at him and sighed. "How do you not think I'm a monster? I almost killed you"
"Because I understand what you're going through, you couldn't control yourself"

"You know what I'm going through!? You know what it's like being forcefully turned into a Watcher!? Not being able to control yourself and your friends calling you a monster! YOU UNDERSTAND HOW THAT FEELS!?" X yelled and Grian sighed and unfolded his Watcher wings and got his mask and halo to appear.

"Yes, I know exactly how that feels X" he replied and the admin stared at him.

"You- you're-"
"The exact same thing that happened to you, happened to me, but trust me, you'll earn more control and be able to hide your Watcher features completely"

"I will?" The voidwalker asked with hope in his voice.
"I can teach you"
"Thank you so much G, when does the training start?"
"Right now if you're feeling up to it" Grian replied with a smile and Xisuma smiled back at him.

That was the first time he had smiled since he had been turned into a Watcher.
