I woke up still amazed. I really kissed someone last night. And even better then that I kissed the sweetest, kindest and most caring person I had ever met. Even thought I slept on the cold damp ground I had slept better then I had in years, I was at peace.
I looked around Emma was still snoring and Jake was warily trying to sit up.
"Hey," Jake muttered sleepily while sitting leaning on the tree. I sat up and rubbed my eyes.
"Good Morning," I yawned.
"I'm awake!" Emma yelled, startling us. Emma shot up and grabbed her things.
"We are felons now, we have to get a move-on!" Emma announced. She finally seemed confident in herself. Emma always acted unsure, now maybe she had given up and let her guard down. I for one felt glad she had let loose.Emma herded Jake and I off our behinds and we marched off.
The park was beautiful. Lush trees grew around the winding brick paths. The chilly morning air kept me awake. My stomach growled like a starving Rottweiler.
"Whoa was the thunder or your stomach?" Jake joked.
"I'm hungry," I giggled.
"Me too!" Emma whined.
"Crepes!" Jake exclaimed. He grabbed mine and Emma's wrist and began to charge towards a small cart with a man selling fresh made crepes. We all got a crepe and ran off to find the Eiffel Tower.
