I sat in the back of the depressing police cruiser. The police officer in the front seat was driving about as slow as a turtle. I sat in the back seat, tears dripping down my face as I looked out the window. My Mother sat utterly disgusting that I kissed Jake. I wondered how my mom had gotten the police to chase after me. She had probably heard about the cafe incident and the police officers were happy to assist in finding me. I just hoped they would never find out about our dining and dashing incident or I would be in serious trouble, and worse so would my friends.
We finally arrived at the airport my dad sat out front holding all of our luggage. I stepped out of the car and took a deep breath, taking in my last few moments in France.
We got on the plane I sat alone and thought. I had broken the law twice. Ran from the police once. Ran from two insanely muscular waiters once. Meet two of the greatest people living on this Earth. Made a lifelong friend. Fell in love. I tallied it up and thought, I might I ruined my future but I'm glad I got lost in Paris.
