Sidearm's POV:

I paced my room back and forth wondering when they'd arrive.  They're my best friends, I don't know why they made me nervous.

I had to tell my mom sooner or later, I wouldn't want a group of 8 men just appearing at my doorstep, she'd think of things, weird things.

I dialed her work number and I crumbled up a paper and threw it into the garbage can and whispered, "Ball is life." to myself which made myself chuckle and then my mom responded;

MommaSide: Hey Love.

Sidearms: Hey Mom.

MommaSide: What's up?

Sidearms: Um, a couple of friends are coming over, to stay.. is that, uh.. okay?

MommaSide: Of course, Baby! When are they coming over?

Sidearms: I don't know.

MommaSide: You don't know? Um?

Sidearms: They're not from here.

MommaSide: What? So they're not school friends?

Sidearms: No, they're not. Um, remember the guys? I've talked to you about them once or a couple of times.

MommaSide: Those guys? Remind me how old are they, Albi?

Sidearms: I..uh..

MommaSide: Okay? How many of them are coming over? How long are they staying over?

Sidearms: Well, I don't know.

MommaSide: Albi, speak up.

Sidearms: Um, can I tell you later when they're here?

MommaSide: Oh well, this better not be a joke, son. This conversation will continue when I get home, okay? I'll see you soon, baby. I love you.

Sidearms: Yes, I..hehe, Love you too.

MommaSide: Don't get yourself in trouble, ya hear?

Sidearms: Uh..

MommaSide: I'm kidding you, well like I said I have to go, I'm busy. Bye.

I mean at least she didn't say no. I started thinking, they didn't say they were staying at my house, well I think so. My mind still hasn't processed why Speedy was just randomly coming over and it made my stomach unsettle.

My phone buzzed again, "Oh, It's Tori" I exclaimed. She texted saying, "What's up" for the first time I didn't actually want to talk to her, I still felt a burden was over my shoulders that I had to carry.

Sidearms TXT: Hey Tori :)

Tori TXT: Hey Side!

Sidearms TXT: Hey Tori, What's up?

Tori TXT: I wanted to tell you that I already bought my con tickets and my flight tickets, I'm so excited to see you!

Fuck. I completely forgot about that. I sighed and texted back what ever words rumbled in my head.

Sidearms TXT: That's great news, TorI! I can't wait either! :D

Tori TXT: I'm so excited, Side. Like this is my first convention and all and then I get to see you in person <3

I felt a smile creep on my face and the light shade of pink on my face turn red.

I couldn't stay upset at Tori she made my heart beat heavy and just seeing that I can already picture her little smile or the way her hair covered her face and she brushed away and giggled.

Sidearms TXT: I'm over the moon excited too.

Tori TXT: Well, Sidey. I'll txt ya' again when I have the chance! C ya! :)

Sidearms TXT: <3

The thought of seeing Tori again made me feel so much better, I felt like nothing was happening but just her. I imagined us meeting each other and her little smile grew to a bigger smile. I imagined finally holding her for the first time, how her small body wouldn't compare to mine but she'd fit in my gaps like a glove. I imagined her eyes sparkle at all the gaming booths and famous people, her grabbing my hand wanting to explore every corner of the convention center.

I couldn't stop smiling.

I logged back into my computer and looked up info on (INSERT CONVENTION NAME HERE) and the tickets were a reasonable price I could afford.

I clicked "buy" on the 3 day passes and I felt butterflies fly around my stomach, knocking through my intestines and fluttering straight through my heart.

I thought about it and I fought through my conscious. I think going to this convention I'm gonna tell Tori how I feel about her. I took the hardest gulp as I clicked accept. My computer screen flashed, "Thank you!" and I couldn't help but answer back with, "No, Thank you." I closed the window, closed my eyes and laid back on my chair. I exhaled and I felt good.

Then the noise, I didn't hear it at first but it came back and it woke my daydream up.

It was knocking. My bones stiffened and it took me a while to get my thoughts in order to open my front door.

I took the heaviest steps down the stairs and into my door. I couldn't see the person standing behind my door. The tinted glass made it hard to see but all I saw was a tall man with his back turned to his door. I gripped the door knob and twisted right and I couldn't fucking believe it..
