Airport love stories.

Just me and 7 other dudes combining 2 tables from a coffee shop to make an even bigger table for the 8 of us. I quickly picked my seat next to Speedy and D20, still laughing and discussing past stream events and gaming moments, I unlocked my phone to read the time was 5:37 pm.. my heart sank out of my body and I ran to my car, the only thing I remember before blinking was Speedy getting out of his seat and running after to me. I screamed back "Guys! I'm so late!". I remember running almost nearly 4 blocks back to the parking garage, in nervousness, I was slowly forgetting what part of the city I was in, The crew quickly following behind me, more confused than I ever was. Speedy pointed and yelled, "Sidearms, over the green sign!" and I just ran. 

I didn't even take the elevator, somehow in my head I thought the most effective way was to go through the stairs, Speedy followed me up the stairs and the rest stayed below and waited for the elevator to open it's doors. 

Speedy: Sidearms what happened?! 
Sidearms: Speedy..I fucked up..I'm late..I'm so late to pick up...Tori..fuck..
Speedy: Sidearms! Relax! Slow down!
Sidearms: I can't..she's waiting for me! She's been waiting..for me!

The rest of the guys were waiting by the car and me and Speedy were pushing our every last breath out of our system, the closer I got to my car I started scrambling for me car keys.

So many thoughts flew around my head about Tori, maybe she left.. did she get a cab after all? Was she mad at me for forgetting? I didn't what to think. 

~Road skip~ 
As we pulled up infront of the airport, I crossed my fingers and studied every girl outside the airport's face. I pulled up my phone and to my distraught Tori actually texted me, she didn't spam or worried, she sent 2 or 3 message as the minutes passed by. I quickly called her, she didn't pick up. I felt my face burn and slowly glops of tears started forming on my face. I knew she couldn't go anywhere from the airport but just the thought of her being map really hit me. 

I tried calling her again, still no answer. I looked at Speedy and he could see how hard I tried to hold back sobbing in front of my friends, he slowly started rubbing my back. I turned around to the rest of the guys and apologized for this sudden chase, they understood 100%, they even offered to look around the entire airport, maybe Tori wandered around? Maybe she found her way to the airport food court? Maybe she's in the bathroom? There was so many possible answers, my last resort is that she hailed a taxi and went straight to the hotel, but I didn't want to go there only until I was sure she wasn't in the airport. 

I tried calling her again, still no answer. I began to worry, my body shook and I felt so much warmth in my body inside an airport that was basically a tundra. I scanned every room we walked into, hoping to see a little short girl with the most gorgeous half smile I've ever seen to walk about. 
Deluxe 4 offered to split up so the process could become must quicker but I didn't want to risk that chance of them getting themselves lost. 

I just held my breath. 

~Another time skip~ 
After what felt like hours, we circled our way back into the food court for the 2nd time. 
I sat on the nearest chair and the rest followed. My head deep inside my shoulders, I felt very weak. I really screwed it up with Tori now, the worst of the worst happened. All I could think of was Tori anxiously walking around like a lost puppy, it broke my heart to a million pieces. 
I sank in my chair and the guys sat quickly in my chair just waiting until  someone broke the silence. 
Speedy spoke up. 

Speedy: Side try calling her a final tim- 

My phone buzzed, I quickly scrambled to the middle of the table from where I have thrown my phone and I answered.. 

Sidearms: H-Hello..??
Tori: Hey Side!
Sidearms: Tori, oh my god..!
Tori: Hey Sidearms
Sidearms: Tori, where.. like where are you.. I've been looking everywhere...I'm sorry I came..so ...la-
Tori: Sidearms, I can see you struggling to hold your phone to your ear. 
Sidearms: YOu see WHAT.. 

My heart stopped and I felt my body spring up, I scanned the room again and there she was. 
There she was.
