CHAPTER FOURTEEN:

The room was filled with excitement and joy as the Kamaboko squad settled in for their first sleepover at Senjuro's place.

(Y/N) laid the Tatami mat down on the floor, creating a cozy spot for herself and extended an invitation to Nezuko to share the space with her.

"Come on, Nezuko. The boys are sleeping at a separate room so we have all this space to ourselves." (Y/N) said with a smile.

Nezuko happily nodded, her eyes gleaming with excitement as she joined (Y/N) on the mat. "Hmm hmm."

From a distance, they could hear the familiar sounds of Inosuke and Zenitsu running around, their playful bickering adding to the cheerful atmosphere.

Tanjiro entered the room, carrying a stack of trays in his hands. "Hey everyone, I found the trays!"

(Y/N) beamed, "Great! Lets dump them all here before Senjuro gets back."

With everyone's help, they arranged an array of snacks on the trays, creating a colorful and tempting display.

There were chips, candies, cookies, and even some homemade treats that they had brought along.

(Y/N) couldn't shake off the nagging feeling of worry as she heard the strange noises coming from downstairs.

Her instincts told her that something might be amiss, and she felt the need to check on Senjuro and ensure his safety.

She turned to Tanjiro and Nezuko with a concerned expression.

"Hey, I'll go check on Senjuro downstairs. I'll be back in a bit," (Y/N) said, her voice tinged with unease.

Tanjiro and Nezuko exchanged glances, understanding (Y/N)'s concern. Tanjiro nodded, "Okay, (Y/N). Let us know if you need any help."

(Y/N) left the room and slowly made her way downstairs. She got to the kitchen and found Senjuro grabbing a glass of water from the fridge.

"There you are!" She exclaimed, "I heard some gruffling and laughing, I thought something happened." (Y/N) explained.

Senjuro laughed and smiled, "No worries, it was just my Older brother and his colleague. They just got back from the bar, and they reek of alcohol."

(Y/N) let out a small chuckle, feeling a bit embarrassed by her earlier worries. "Oh, I see. I hope they don't mind us being here."

Senjuro shook his head dismissively. "My older brother loves you to bits, there's no way he'd mind."

Then he added, "Plus, he's drunk and asleep. He won't give a care in the world."

Before (Y/N) could answer, a voice boomed from the living room.

"Mah-Kyojuroo~ I wanna spoon. Come here, sugaarr."

(Y/N) couldn't help but let out a snort, her worries fading away as she hears Tengen and Kyojuro's voices from the living room.

No Vivian. Good.

"Oh well." (Y/N) shrugged. "Senjuro, do you have any more cups I could borrow?"

"It's in the closet. Grab whatever you need let me tend to my brother first before I meet you guy." Senjuro grabbed the cup of water and rushed to his brothers aid.

As (Y/N) quietly made her way back up the stairs, she couldn't resist stealing a quick peek at Kyojuro and Tengen in the living room.

The sight of Kyojuro, looking slightly drunk and half asleep, instantly caused her heart to skip a beat.

She felt a rush of emotions she couldn't quite explain, but there was no denying the fondness and affection she felt for him.

In that moment, (Y/N) couldn't help but admire Kyojuro's endearing vulnerability.

His normally composed and confident demeanor was softened by the effects of the alcohol, making him look even more approachable and charming.

Her mind flashed back to the moments they had spent together-the laughter, the shared stories, and the genuine connection they had formed.

(Y/N) found herself drawn to him in a way she hadn't expected.

'Oh heart, here we go again.'

As she continued on her way back to the room, her heart was still racing with a mix of emotions.

She tried to rationalize her feelings, reminding herself that it was just a sleepover, and they were all having fun as friends.

Tonight is not a night for alone time with Kyojuro.

But deep down, (Y/N) knew that there was something more to her feelings for Kyojuro. She cared for him deeply and admired his kindness, strength, and determination.

He had a way of making her feel special and appreciated, and she cherished every moment they shared.

(Y/N) entered the room with a smile still gracing her face, feeling a mix of happiness and excitement from the events of the night.

As she was greeted by Tanjiro's warm smile, she returned the gesture with enthusiasm.

"Hey, (Y/N)! Did you find Senjuro?" Tanjiro asked, his voice trailing off when he noticed the evident blush on her cheeks and the big smile she had.

(Y/N) nodded, her cheeks growing even redder as she tried to compose herself. "Yes- and I got some cups."

Nezuko, who had been dozing off on the Tatami mat, woke up and noticed her brother's puzzled expression.

She followed his gaze to (Y/N) and immediately grinned mischievously.

"Hmm hmm hmm~" Nezuko teased playfully.

(Y/N) tried to stammer out a response, feeling a mix of embarrassment and happiness. "It's uh... It's a long story."

The kamado siblings exchanged perplexed glanced, and then it hit them at the same time-Call it a siblings intuition.

The blush on her face, the huge grin tilted up her lips-It was obvious by now.

Nezuko, with her playful nature, was the first to point it out. "Hmm hmm~" She said with a mischievous grin.

(Y/N) blushed even more, feeling a mix of embarrassment and amusement at her friends' perceptiveness. "W-What? No, I-I'm not crushing on anyone!"

But Tanjiro chimed in, gently teasing her, "Come on, (Y/N). It's written all over your face. You can't hide it from us."

(Y/N) tried to protest further, but her attempts were futile as Tanjiro and Nezuko dragged her back into the room, demanding to know the whole story.

"We need all the details-All the drama! You better start talking (Y/N)!"
