I never knew silence could be this loud.
For once again I was left alone.
Since when did I lost the crowd?
Everyone drifted, and here I am on my own.
The music vanished, fun cut short.
How could this happen?
Earlier I was smiling wide,
but now tears spill, a relentless tide,
flowing as if they'll never subside.
Suddenly everything stopped—
like the world abruptly freezing in place,
like time itself held hostage, suspended in silence.
Everything faded into black,
no one wants to go back,
and once again I was left alone.
Will anyone hear me in this silence?
Or will silence be my only friend?
