Marais Forest
An Imperial Century of 80 Imperial guerrillas marched in Marais Forest.
They were following a man who claimed he was a simple lumberjack.
The lumberjack led them through a large dirt path in the dense forest, the sound of boots marching in unison echoed through the trees.
"Are you certain you know where we are going?" The Century Centurion asked on horseback to the lumberjack.
"I'm sure." The lumberjack responded with a confident nod.
As they marched across the wide path, several of the Imperial soldiers spotted what seemed to be fleeting figures among the foliage in the forest, but dismissed them as mere animals scurrying about.
As they continued, the lumberjack suddenly stopped in front of them, causing the Centurion to look suspiciously at him.
"Why did you stop?" The Centurion inquired.
After a brief silence, the lumberjack swiftly swung his axe at the Centurion's horse, the blade slicing through the air with deadly precision and decapitating the noble steed.
The Centurion was thrown to the ground as his loyal horse fell, and several Imperial soldiers rushed to help their fallen leader.
But the lumberjack did something unexpected; he unsheathed a hidden revolver from behind his back and fired at the Imperial soldiers with deadly accuracy, each shot finding its mark.
