I'M ALIVE! I'm really sorry for not posting on time and not being able to tell you guys why. I've recently been busy with preparing for school and life in general so I haven't been able to use Wattpad at all. Because of this, the following chapters might not be able to follow the typical schedule. I'll try my best to update on time but please don't get your hopes up. Thank you for your patience and I hope you enjoy this! ^_^

Ch.101:‌ ‌Fight‌ ‌for‌ ‌Commendation;‌ ‌E'ming‌ ‌Battles‌ ‌Ruoye‌ ‌

"...Are we going to watch weapons fight for praise?" Feng Xin asked incredulously.

"That's what the title said, yes." Mu Qing replied dryly.

"I know that!" Feng Xin glared. "But why? Can't we watch something more important?"

Lynn smiled. "Let's just say you'll need a calming chapter."

That‌ ‌scimitar‌ ‌was‌ ‌shaking‌ ‌more‌ ‌and‌ ‌more‌ ‌uncontrollably.‌ ‌Xie‌ ‌Lian‌ ‌was‌ ‌at‌ ‌a‌ ‌loss‌ ‌on‌ ‌what‌ ‌to‌ ‌do,‌ ‌and‌ ‌gently‌ ‌stroked‌ ‌down‌ ‌along‌ ‌the‌ ‌spine‌ ‌of‌ ‌the‌ ‌blade,‌ ‌"I'm‌ ‌sorry‌ ‌I'm‌ ‌sorry,‌ ‌I‌ ‌didn't‌ ‌see‌ ‌it‌ ‌was‌ ‌you,‌ ‌I‌ ‌won't‌ ‌do‌ ‌it‌ ‌again."‌ ‌

"As I said before, Gege, just ignore it." Hua Cheng smiled. "It's just acting all dramatic."

"Still, it was my fault why it got scared." Xie Lian replied.

Hua Cheng just smiled helplessly, looking like a fool in love.

Oh wait, he is, many thought.

After‌ ‌stroking‌ ‌it‌ ‌a‌ ‌few‌ ‌times,‌ ‌E'ming‌ ‌squinted‌ ‌its‌ ‌eye,‌ ‌and‌ ‌the‌ ‌trembling‌ ‌finally‌ ‌stopped.‌ ‌Xie‌ ‌Lian‌ ‌then‌ ‌asked,‌ ‌"Where's‌ ‌your‌ ‌master?"‌ ‌

Suddenly,‌ ‌a‌ ‌voice‌ ‌came‌ ‌from‌ ‌behind,‌ ‌"Pay‌ ‌it‌ ‌no‌ ‌mind."‌ ‌ ‌

"San Lang, you should really take care of it better." Xie Lian said. "It might hate you in the future."

Hua Cheng just nodded in agreement although many knew he wouldn't follow. Or maybe he will just to impress his highness?

Only time will tell.

Xie‌ ‌Lian‌ ‌looked‌ ‌back‌ ‌and‌ ‌immediately‌ ‌rose‌ ‌to‌ ‌his‌ ‌feet,‌ ‌surprised‌ ‌and‌ ‌delighted,‌ ‌"San‌ ‌Lang?‌ ‌Why‌ ‌have‌ ‌you‌ ‌come?"‌ ‌ ‌

Many, excluding the oblivious ones like Qian Qiu and Xie Lian, took note of the 'delighted' expression as some felt their face sour.

Hua Cheng looked gleeful although he was hiding it.

Behind‌ ‌him‌ ‌was‌ ‌a‌ ‌youth‌ ‌who‌ ‌approached‌ ‌easily‌ ‌with‌ ‌an‌ ‌air‌ ‌of‌ ‌playful‌ ‌arrogance.‌ ‌It‌ ‌was‌ ‌Hua‌ ‌Cheng.‌ ‌He‌ ‌had‌ ‌tied‌ ‌his‌ ‌black‌ ‌hair‌ ‌up‌ ‌into‌ ‌a‌ ‌crooked‌ ‌ponytail‌ ‌again,‌ ‌dressed‌ ‌in‌ ‌a‌ ‌white‌ ‌tunic,‌ ‌the‌ ‌red‌ ‌outer‌ ‌robe‌ ‌tied‌ ‌around‌ ‌his‌ ‌waist,‌ ‌his‌ ‌sleeves‌ ‌rolled‌ ‌up,‌ ‌revealing‌ ‌that‌ ‌pale‌ ‌white‌ ‌but‌ ‌firm‌ ‌arms‌ ‌as‌ ‌well‌ ‌as‌ ‌the‌ ‌tattoo‌ ‌on‌ ‌one‌ ‌of‌ ‌them.‌ ‌

"We don't need that much information, we can see it." He Xuan sighed in annoyance. He has spent some time with the ghost and didn't need anymore info about the red ghost.
