Chapter 6: The First Avenger

Last time, Ben and the other Avengers faced off against a rampaging Hulk who was under the control of the Asguardian sorceress known as the Enchantress. After all of them had taken a massive beating from the jade giant, Ben, especially, the Hulk snapped out of his rage and broke free from the Enchantress's spell. Upon seeing what he had done, the Hulk fled before Ben and the others could stop him. Knowing that the Hulk was their responsibility and not wanting the army or S.H.I.E.L.D to go after the Hulk, Ben and the others decided to go after him. But before they could do so, the Enchantress and her Executioner attacked them.

Already exhausted from their fight with the Hulk, Ben, and the other Avengers weren't much of a match for the Enchantress and her giant axe wielding Executioner. Upon seeing that Giant Man was about to have his head cut off, Ben had flashes back to when his family died. Using that anger and fear of not wanting to lose someone he cared about again, Ben activated one of his trump cards. Ben, in his Sonorosian form, activated the omnitrix's evolution function, evolving himself into Ultimate Echo Echo. As Ultimate Echo Echo, Ben was able to get the upper hand and defeated the Executioner. Ben also was able to bring the Enchantress to her knees, but before he could neutralize her, the Enchantress regained the upper hand.

If not for the Hulk showing up and finishing off both the Executioner and the Enchantress, Ben and the other Avengers wouldn't have made it. The day had been saved, but before anyone could celebrate, the Hulk once again fled, leaping away from Ben and the other Avengers. Now, Ben and the Avengers were out on the search for the Hulk in order to find him and bring him back before something bad happened.

Artic Circle: Antarctica

It had been well over a week since the battle with the Enchantress and Skurd the Executioner. After the battle, the Hulk had left the Avengers, believing the Enchantress was right about him being a monster. Ben had tried to stop the Hulk from leaving, but it was too late at that point. While Ben and the other Avengers believed that after what the Hulk had been through while being under the Enchantress's control, he needed some space and some time to cool off. Unfortunately, the Hulk was the responsibility of Ben and the Avengers, and if they didn't bring him back, the army would have free reign to once again hunt the Hulk down.

Ben and the others didn't want that to happen, so they immediately went out in the quinjet and began their search for the Hulk. After a week, the Avengers had tracked the Hulk down to the Artic Circle by following his unique gamma signature. After landing in the Artic, Ben and the Avengers followed Hulk's unique gamma signature to a small Inuit village. Asking around, a fisherman pointed towards a large crater in the ice. Knowing right away that the Hulk created that crater, Ben and the Avengers tracked out in the cold snowstorm and followed the trail of craters left by the Hulk jumping.

Now, it had been well over an hour since the Avengers ventured out into the snowstorm on the trail of the Hulk. So far, they had only found craters created from the Hulk landing and not the Hulk himself. At this point, the snowstorm picked up and was a full-on blizzard, stopping the Avengers in their tracks.

"Remind me again why we're out here in the Artic looking for the Hulk?" Wasp asked as she shivered from the cold

"You see, Jan, the Hulk is our responsibility. It is our job to watch over him and make sure he doesn't level an entire city" Ben answered

"If we don't find him, the army or S.H.I.E.L.D and Fury will hunt him down and make sure he never leaves a cell again" Iron Man tells Wasp

"I still don't know why we have to be out of here in a blizzard" Wasp said, annoyed as she continued to shiver from the cold
