Chapter 7: Zemo

Previously

Last time, the Avengers traveled to the Artic Circle in Antarctica, searching for the Hulk. After traversing through the frozen tundra and fighting through a blizzard, the Avengers came across someone frozen in a block of ice. That someone was the famous Captain America, aka Steve Rogers, a super soldier who fought in WWII against the Nazis and the villainous HYDRA. After realizing that Captain America was alive inside of the ice, the Avengers brought him aboard the quinjet and began to thaw him out. Aboard the quinjet, Ben, who wasn't from this universe, learned more about Captain America and who he was. Iron Man explained to Ben that Captain America was a hero and was truly the first Avenger.

However, as Captain America finished thawing out, he awoke to find himself in a strange place surrounded by the Avengers. Thinking that he was still back in the war, Captain America went on the offensive. He took down all of the Avengers and managed to escape the quinjet. Ben followed after the Captain to try and stop him before he ended up hurting himself or someone else, for that matter. A face-off then ensued between Captain America and Ben, who had transformed into his Segmentasapien form that he called Bloxx. Even though he had been frozen for many years, Captain America was still able to hold his own against Ben.

The Captain was even able to get the upper hand against Ben, who had also transformed into another alien this time he was his Polymorph transformation, Goop. After besting Ben in combat, Captain America escaped before he was confronted by Wasp, who had taken him to the Captain America memorial. Upon seeing the statue of him and Bucky, Captain America fell to his knees and realized what had happened to him during his last mission. When the day was over, a new threat would be alerted to the revival of Captain America, and his name is Zemo.

HYDRA Base: Unknown Location

Inside the HYDRA base, located in a hidden and unknown location, a man wearing a purple outfit with gold accents and fur shoulder pads makes his way to the main hall of the HYDRA Base. His name is Baron Zemo, once the leader of HYDRA, after the fall of the Red Skull, Zemo had returned after being freed from the Raft during the breakout. Now that he was freed from his near lifelong imprisonment, there were a few things that Zemo needed to take care of, starting here at the HYDRA base. After taking care of a few HYDRA guards, Zemo opens the large doors that lead to the throne room. Inside of the throne room, a man by the name of Baron Strucker was sitting down on a large throne. Next to him was a heavily armored man with a scythe for a hand named Grim Reaper.

"If it is Baron Zemo, I didn't think you'd escape too" Strucker says to Zemo as he enters the throne room

"If you thought I would die in that cell, then you were sorely mistaken" Zemo tells Strucker

"Well then, what is it that you want Zemo?" Strucker asks Zemo

"I want HYDRA back, it was given to me to lead and rule over after the Red Skull" Zemo answers

"I am afraid I can't do that, once you were apprehended, HYDRA became mine, and I do not intend to give it up so easily" Strucker says in a serious tone

With a motion of his hand, Strucker sends all of the HYDRA soldiers into the room to attack Zemo. Seeing that he was surrounded, Zemo didn't falter as he easily dispatched all of the HYDRA soldiers who tried to attack him.

"Do you take me for a weakling Wolfgang? I was leading HYDRA back when you were just a mere whelp suckling from your mother's teet" Zemo tells Strucker in an angered tone

Seeing that his men were defeated so easily, Strucker then sends Grim Reaper to deal with Zemo

"Kill him quickly" Strucker tells Grim Reaper
