Chapter 15: Gamma World (1)

Last time, Ben teamed up with the hero Spider-Man to take on a team of villains that called themselves the Sinister Seven. At first, the two had a hard time dealing with each member of the Sinister Seven, but eventually, the two were able to take them all down. The last member of the Sinister Seven to go down was the symbiote-wearing super villain, known as Venom. Together, Ben and Spider-Man were able to restrain Venom, while Ben as Ampfibian was able to go into Venom's mind and free him from the symbiote. Once freed, Venom returned back to his human form, Eddie Brock, while Ben contained the now passified symbiote.

Nick Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D would arrive to take Eddie into custody as well as the symbiote back. Thanks to some non-verbal communication from Ben, Fury offered to help Eddie with his cancer as well as use the symbiote for good instead of turning into a weapon. With that, Ben and Spider-Man became friends, with Ben revealing his identity to Spider-Man since Ben found out who Spider-Man was while inside Eddie's mind. Not only would the two heroes would become friends, but Ben even offered Spider-Man an Avengers I.D. card, meaning that he was worthy to become an Avenger. Afterward, the two new friends would hang out together and get something to eat after having a long day.

Rooftops: New York City

It was late at night and up above the city streets, running and jumping along the building rooftops, we see a man in a purple outfit that had the letter "H" on the forehead who also had a bow with a quiver full of arrows on his back. This man was the former S.H.I.E.L.D agent turned HYDRA spy known as Hawkeye. Right now, Hawkeye was being chased down across the city rooftops by the Avengers. Following behind Hawkeye, we see Iron Man, Wasp, Black Panther, and Captain America. We also see Ben, who is transformed into his Arachnachimp form that he called Spidermonkey.

"Just give up Barton, you've got nowhere to go" Wasp tells Hawkeye

"It sure doesn't look like that" Hawkeye said as he continued to make his way across the city rooftops

"Look, pal, I've got things I wanted to do tonight, and because of you, that isn't going to happen" Ben tells Hawkeye in an annoyed tone

"Not my problem" Hawkeye responds as he fires an explosive arrow at Ben and the other Avengers

Ben and the other Avengers easily avoid the explosion and see that Hawkeye has gotten ahead of them

"I'll cut him off from up ahead" Iron Man tells everyone as he flies further up ahead to cut off Hawkeye

"I will trip him up" Plack Panther says as he readies his vibranium daggers

"I'll join you, I cannot wait to finally catch this guy" Wasp said, sounding excited

You see, it had been well over a week now since the Avengers had tried to capture Hawkeye and bring him in. Each time they were able to stop him, something would happen, and Hawkeye would just escape. It had happened now, at least five times already, but now, they felt like this would be the final time.

"You Avenger guys really are slow" Hawkeye said, mocking the Avengers

"Oh, you are in for it now" Ben said as he tried to hold back his anger

As Hawkeye went to try and jump to another rooftop that was farther away, Black Panther threw his vibranium daggers, which exploded at Hawkeye's feet. The small explosions tripped up Hawkeye along with Wasp firing her stingers at him. As Hawkeye was about to fall, Ben quickly webbed up Hawkeye's legs and lower half with his webbing.
