Last time, Ben and the Avengers found themselves face to face with a man in a black cat suit, the same cat suit wearing man who helped out Captain America. After attacking and defeating Ben and the Avengers, the man in the black cat suit revealed himself to be Prince T'Challa of the African nation of Wakanda. Not only was T'Challa the prince of Wakanda, but he was also its protector, the Black Panther. Apparently, T'Challa came to the Avengers to seek their help, liberating his home of invaders as well as getting revenge for his murdered father.
Agreeing to help out T'Challa, Ben and the Avengers flew out to Wakanda in the quinjet. Upon arriving in Wakanda, the quinjet was shot down, and the Avengers had to split up. Ben, Captain America, and Black Panther would head to the city to defeat Man-Ape, the villain who killed Black Panther's father and help Black Panther regain control of the Wakandan throne. While they did that, Iron Man, Wasp, and Ant-Man would head down into the mines to stop Ulysses Klaw and A.I.M from stealing the vibranium mound that was underneath Wakanda itself.
Splitting up, Ben, Captain America, and Black Panther arrived at the city where Man-Ape was. There, Black Panther challenged Man-Ape to a fight in which he won. Remembering what Ben had told him, Black Panther spared Man-Ape's life. From there, Black Panther also decided to change some of Wakanda's laws and explore the world. Afterward, the three headed down into the mines to help out the others who were dealing with a mutated Klaw. Klaw had suddenly mutated into a monster whose body was made of sound waves.
The only way to defeat Klaw was to destroy his sonic emitter that was inside his body. Luckily, Ben was able to do that as one of his ultimate forms, Ultimate Cannonbolt, along with some help from Iron Man. Once the sonic emitter was destroyed, Klaw's body dissipated, and the day was saved with Black Panther wanting to join the Avengers. Little did they know, a familiar cloaked figure was watching them before going off to deal with a different Ben.

Tony's Lab: Avengers Mansion, New York City
"I still don't know why you just won't let me go train in the H.A.R.M Room?" Ben asked Tony, annoyed
"Well, for starters, I don't want you to completely destroy it before anyone else has gotten a chance to use it and secondly, you are the one who asked me the make a you a suit that would hide your identity" Tony answers as he works on something
Ben just lets out a sigh as he sits there in a chair and watches Tony work on a black glove-like device. You see, once again, Ben had another nightmare that woke him up and kept him from going back to sleep. Tony was up as well and decided to have Ben help him with a device that he was building for Ben, instead of him destroying the H.A.R.M Room, like Ben usually did. The two were down in the sub-levels of the mansion in Tony's lab.
"Give me your hand" Tony tells Ben
Ben sighs and gives Tony his left hand
"This should do it" Tony says as he puts a fingerless black glove on Ben's hand
"It's just a glove" Ben said, looking at the black fingerless glove on his hand
The glove itself looked like an ordinary fingerless glove that had green metallic studs on the knuckle with a green metallic plate in the center of it
"It's not just an ordinary glove, it's a nanomesh glove that with a push of a button forms a full armored body suit that also has a face mask and goggles to hide your identity while keeping you safe" Tony explains to Ben
Hearing that, Ben was in awe of the glove that he was wearing
"That actually sounds pretty cool" Ben said in awe
