Chapter 14: Sinister Seven

Previously

Last time, Ben woke up from a new nightmare that showed him an unknown figure destroying Avengers Mansion and killing all of the Avengers while he was unable to do anything. Unsure of who that figure was, Ben didn't put much thought into the nightmare he had. He would go about the rest of his day, eventually going into the city to hang out with his friend Roxie. Unfortunately, things did not go as Ben planned as a large man in a rhino suit was going on a rampage in the city. Canceling his plans with Roxie, Ben chased after the man in the rhino suit and came across someone else facing off against the rhino suit wearing man.

His name was Spider-Man, a hero with spider-like powers, and it just so happened that the rhino suit wearing villain, Rhino, was another one of Spider-Man's villains. Teaming up with Spider-Man, both Ben and the web swinging hero were able to defeat the Rhino and stop his rampage. Unfortunately, before Ben and Spider-Man could turn Rhino into the authorities, a new villain appeared. This time, a villain wearing a mechanized vulture suit known as the Vulture came down from the sky and attacked Ben and Spider-Man.

The Vulture would free the Rhino, and the two would then escape the scene together. Ben wanted to go after the two and bring them in, but after some advice from Spider-Man, the two decided to wait until they made it to their hideout. From there, Ben and Spider-Man would track them down to their hideout and would arrest both Rhino and Vulture as well as whoever was in charge of them pulling the strings. Little did Ben and Spider-Man know, but Rhino and Vulture had teamed up four other villains who hated Spider-Man.

They called themselves the Sinister Six, and with the arrival of the villain known as Venom, they would become the Sinister Seven. With all of their powers and strengths, the seven villains would be able to end Spider-Man once and for all, as well as Ben. Hopefully, the two heroes would be ready for the danger that was going to come upon them.

City Streets: New York City

Sitting on a street bench, Ben was drinking a smoothie while still wearing his nanomesh suit so no one would recognize him. Hanging upside down from a street lamp eating a hotdog was Spider-Man. The two heroes were waiting till the tracker that Spider-Man placed on Rhino picked up where he and the Vulture were hiding out. Once they knew that, the two would swoop in and take care of Rhino and Vulture as whoever else they were working with or for.

"So you are telling me that you got your powers from a radioactive spider bite?" Ben asked Spider-Man

"Yeah, it all happened when I was on a high school field trip at Oscorp" Spider-Man answered

"I can relate, I got my first omnitrix when I was 10 during summer vacation" Ben tells Spider-Man

"How did you handle being such a young superhero?" Spider-Man asks Ben as he eats his hotdog

"I had help of course but things kinda became more easy for me as I got older" Ben answered with a shrug

"I wish that was the case for me, things have always been difficult for me even after I graduated high school" Spider-Man said with a sigh

"Between that Jameson guy at the Daily Bugel calling you a menace and some people believing him, I know how you feel" Ben tells Spider-Man

"How so? I thought everybody liked you Avenger guys?" Spider-Man asked Ben, confused

"Nick Fury of S.H.I.E.L.D doesn't like me and is always spying on me, pretty sure he's doing it right now, but back where I'm from, I had this guy named Will Harangue and he hated my guts saying the same stuff that Jameson guy says about you and far more people believed him, thinking I was a menace and some sort of alien invader" Ben answers, telling Spider-Man about his past
