Oda Sakunosuke- I'll Take Care of Him, I Promise (I Broke It)

Gifts- Oda- Flawless, (M/N)-  All is For Thy- The ability to shapeshift into any type of living creature, excluding plants. Gain the ability of each person. For example if he shapeshifts into Kyouka, he would gain her ability, still having his own. Downside- can only be used for an hour max.

Instead of telling Dazai to help people, he told (M/N) just for context.

Third Person POV:

For years (M/N) and Oda were partners in the mafia and in life, fiances to be exact. They were both simple people who regretted their choices. The mafia. A hellhole and a place to let your happiness die. The only thing that kept them both going was each other, and the poor teenager that got sucked into the rabbit hole, forced to be Mori's right hand man. (M/N) found out what had been happening to Dazai. 

The abuse cycle. 

Dazai Osamu was abused and molested by Mori, a fucking pedophile. (M/N) knew this and wanted the boy to escape, free himself from his trashy life in the mafia, sleeping in a shitty shipping container, with nothing but a mattress and a few things here and there. 

A new mission had been brought upon the couple along with Dazai, and fuck it was difficult. 

"Saku, we can't. This man is dangerous." (M/N) begged him to stay home, but nothing could break his choice. 

"I'm sorry, but I can't make Dazai do this alone." He answered with a sigh. 

"Okay, I'm coming with you. " The (h/c) man replied, reaching for his hand.

"Ehh I don't think you should; Mimic is very powerful. It's not safe (M/N)."

"Not I'm going end of story."

Oda killed for the first time that day, unable to look at himself the same. (M/N) and Dazai stood, eyes wide watching Gide and Oda fight. Fuck. Gide  had him trapped with a similar ability like his, the ability to look in the future. All of Oda's outcomes led to death. He knew it and so did Gide, but he wasn't going to let him win, not with Dazai and (M/N) behind him. They were both nearly hopeless in this. Gide could see them no matter what. Oda wasn't willing to let them sacrifice themselves either. He knew what had to be done. He did it, he shot the gun, hitting Gide, but in return he was met with a bullet, too. 

'I'm sorry. It's what had to be done.'

Dazai froze, (M/N) too. 

"Oh my god." (M/N) mumbled.

"Sakunosuke!" He ran towards Oda's body that laid collapsed on the concrete, blood pouring from his body at a very high speed. 

'Oh shit.'

"Hey, hey Oda. It's okay. You'll be okay." (M/N) collapsed on his knees beside Oda who was bleeding out slowly. 

"Honey, I'm sorry. I'm not gonna make it." 

"You will. I'm not leaving you here." He pulled Oda's head up, wrapping his arms around his shoulders.

"Please (M/N). What's done is done. Take Dazai and leave."

Dazai stood with tears in his eyes watching as his father figure die slowly in his lover's arms.

"You'll live! Please Sakunosuke. I can't lose you. You're everything I have." 

He began to sob into Oda's shoulder, unable to separate himself from him. 

"Please just do one thing for me." He coughed out, caressing (M/N)'s red, tear-covered cheeks.
