Warnings: Talk of death, Fluff

Pronouns- Both- (He/Him)

Gifts-Katai- Futon, (M/N)- Disconnect- The ability to separate from his body, turning him into a ghost. His body will disintegrate slowly if he's gone from his body for more than two hours. A separate world where everybody can't see him. Almost like Anne's room, but people don't freeze.

Third Person POV:

Katai scrolled through his information, comfortable under the warmth of his futon, sprawled out in the middle of the room. Kunikida and Atsushi had come by earlier, asking for a request about some mission he didn't care about.

He sighed, dropping his phone onto the hardwood floor lightly, laying his head down on the soft pillow.

"Damn it, I'm so hungry." Katai groaned, forcing himself to sit up and change his clothes. He decided to go to the grocery store. The man walked slowly, taking in the cheery atmosphere of the city, he hadn't felt in a while. He looked down every alley way, not paying attention to the people around him, bumping into someone.

"Sorry." He mumbled, still looking down the dark alley way to his right. Annoyingly, his curiosity got the best of him and walked into the darkness, noticing something shocking. The body of a man, who was passed out and looked to be around the same age. His eyes widened as he bent down to shake the man. His stomach bubbled with nerves when the man didn't wake up after a minute or two, but oddly enough his pulse was still strong and unwavering.

Katai decided it would be best if he stayed with the  man until he woke up in case he was delirious and needed help. A couple minutes a groan sounded and the strange man sat up.

"Who are you?" The man asked, lifting himself off the cool concrete.

"Uhmm I'm Katai Tayama. Are you okay?" He asked nervously, confused on what had just happened.

"You used to work for the Armed Detective Agency did you not?" He asked, walking around Katai who stood awkwardly in the middle of the alley.

"How'd you know?" He was shocked.

"It's quite easy if you think about it. In simple words, I work for the port mafia." He shrugged, a smug smile popping up on his lips as he stood confidently in front of Katai.

"Yeah, but who are you?" Katai asked, now he was interested.

"Me? Oh, I'm (L/N) (M/N). Ringing any bells?" He smirks, looking down at Tayama.

"You're the Silver Ghost?" His eyes widen, and he backs up nervously.

"Ah so you do know me. I promise I won't hurt you." He laughs lightly, watching the man cower before him.

"Why though? Do you want something from me?" He asks, voice shaking.

Katai never was one to work physically. He always collected the information. It was his specialty and he expected something from the port mafia executive.

"Ehh no. To be honest you're quite cute." The Ghost shuts his eyes, smiling down at Katai, who was no, blushing in confusion.

"Why not?" He skips past his last statement.

"Because... You're cute and why would I want to take advantage of a cutie like you." He booped Katai's nose.

"Uhmm. I-uh." He stuttered nervously, fiddling with his own fingers.

"Here let me show you something." (M/N) spoke softly, as to not startle the man.

"Show me wha-AH!" He screamed, feeling his body tingle and ache. (M/N)'s cold hand wrapped with one of his own, sending white electrical waves through the pair.

"There we go." Ghost let go of Tayama's hand, flying around the scared man.

"What the fuck is going on?" He shouts, looking down at the bodies, sprawled out in the shadows.

"Simple. You're in my ability!" He laughs, flying upwards effortlessly.

"Woah! This is so cool. Cooler than my ability." He gushes, floating into the main street.

"Ehh it's only good for listening to private conversations to be honest. AND! My body doesn't disappear, so our bodies are still visible to everyone, so we could be kidnapped at any minute." He rants in annoyance, flying in circles around Katai, who looked around his home city in awe.

"Your ability is awesome, (L/N)." He smiles at the man on his right, who smiled back, blushing lightly.

"Thank you. Also if you ever come back here, make sure you wear a watch. Time doesn't exist here and you will die if you are separated from your body for more the 2 hours on the dot." He explains. Katai nodded, making sure to remember if there was a next time.

"Well thank you for that (L/N)." Katai bowed down.

"Oh sure, but don't bow, we're the same age, man." He laughs awkwardly.

"Sorry." He mumbles.

"Anyway, See you around Katai!" He waves, disappearing around the bend into the main road.

'He's so cool. I hope I'll see him again.'

Katai couldn't help but smile in the darkness.
