Charlotte woke up and noticed that no one was around, she looked at the time. She had overslept, Charlotte's worst nightmare was oversleeping. It wasn't the worst thing in the world, other things were the worst thing in the world, like deleting your files from your laptop... Yep, that was the worst moment of her life.

Charlotte noticed that she had the opportunity to leave home and go to Kansas, but how would she get there? By plane? No, by car? Possibly, walking? No, she would take a million years to get to Kansas by walking. Last night, before sleeping, Charlotte had pinpointed where the small rocks were placed.

Charlotte would soon depart to Kansas with the assistant that she'd been assigned to depart with. Her mind was constantly thinking about leaving the assistant behind, but if she left the assistant early they would think that Charlotte got lost or kidnapped. Charlotte sighed, she wished that she would've gone alone but she needed someone to be with her at all times because her parents were worried that Charlotte might've gone missing.

What am I going to do? Charlotte wasn't sure what she was going to do. It puzzled her mind, but she just had to follow the assistant and make them think that she wouldn't get lost. Charlotte knew that she would have to carefully plan and try to get out of the assistant's sight. Charlotte followed the assistant to a hotel where they would stay for the night.

Charlotte started to devise a plan to get out of the assistant's sight, she had to do it as quickly as possible. If she didn't devise it carefully then she had the risk of being caught. Charlotte stayed up for a bit, she wanted to create the plan on paper like she had done before when she was planning to go here to Kansas. Charlotte still had the coordinates to the location where she was going to look out in the plains of Kansas. Charlotte eventually got tired and put her plan away in her bag, she fell asleep she hoped that everything would go smoothly tomorrow. That's what she desired, at least.

The next thing in the morning, Charlotte woke up. It was a very cold morning and unfortunately, the hotel staff had said that the air conditioning wasn't working but they also said that they would try to fix it as soon as they could. Charlotte dressed in black, looked as if she was going to a funeral, but she wore it so the light could absorb the color.

Charlotte still couldn't believe that she had left 25682 and 68765, she was alone. She felt truly alone for the first time in her life. Charlotte grabbed her bag and searched for something, she found the paper that she was writing down some plan from last night. Jet lag was still affecting Charlotte, Charlotte felt like she didn't want to do anything, but she had to go on with her "mission". Charlotte was still tired but she had to keep going to be able to complete her "mission", Charlotte sighed and decided to meditate to get started on her day.

Charlotte sat in the lotus position and started to meditate. Charlotte closed her eyes and started to breathe in and out, Charlotte had to practice with her energy control, she hasn't grasped it yet or gotten even close to proficiency. The cold frigid morning still bothered Charlotte, she shivered a bit, but she still focused.

She appeared in a similar place where she was practicing her energy control, Eleanor stood there looking directly at Charlotte as she appeared. "I've waited here for about two weeks." Eleanor said her tone sounding very strict, "I have school and a life," Charlotte said Eleanor was still looking directly at Charlotte. She glared at her, "Do you still know how to at LEAST control your energy?" Eleanor said she was still unhappy about waiting for Charlotte for two weeks, "I guess..." Charlotte said sheepishly, she didn't want to make Eleanor more upset than she was now. "Show me then." Eleanor stood there, crossed her arms, and watched Charlotte carefully.

Remember, she knows what I think and what I'm going to do before I even think about it. Remember the swirl she drew on your right palm, directing energy to your hand. Concentrate! Charlotte started to concentrate her energy on her right hand. Eleanor watched the energy go up to Charlotte's right hand, Eleanor had told Charlotte to try and hold the energy there for a while. Charlotte kept the constant flow of energy going to her right hand, Charlotte decided to try her left hand. Eleanor still watched the flow of energy, one thing caught her eye, Charlotte was able to split the extra energy from her right hand and apply it to her left hand, without wasting any more energy than necessary.
