Three years have passed since Charlotte found the artifacts, and the artifacts have been placed in a museum Primal Industries have opened two museums that contain all of her findings. Charlotte had finally mastered the one thousand seal technique that Eleanor had taught her. Charlotte had been amassing energy for two years, in the third year she had filled up one single reserve in case the one thousand seal reserve wasn't enough. When Charlotte had come back, her parents were worried that she had been kidnapped but they were also shocked to find out that their daughter had found ancient artifacts.
Charlotte had also proved Mrs. Levine wrong, Charlotte mostly got the attention of social media. Reporters have tried to get Charlotte to say her name but she has already referred to herself as Anon, three years prior. Three years prior she had been twelve years old, now she's fifteen years old. Charlotte hoped that she would get accepted into any college (anytime soon), she wanted to continue and study ancient times and archeology. The beginning of a new school year and a new semester was going to be tough at first, but she assured herself that she was going to graduate soon enough. Charlotte was still friends with 25682 and 68765, they were happy to hear that Charlotte had been successful on their hunt to find the artifacts.
Charlotte was invited by her parents to meet up with Sophia and Emma. Charlotte has heard that both Emma and Sophia had been busy with some contracts with partnerships, and they both had finally started their business. Charlotte had recently heard that their businesses were successful and companies wanted to make a collaboration with them. Charlotte knew that the meeting was going to be boring, but she might as well listen to what Emma and Sophia had to say.
Charlotte had also been invited to Rio de Janeiro, to view and see the first scroll. The scroll that Charlotte had found in Sophia's home three years prior was named the wither roses scroll. Charlotte liked the name wither rose, even though it seemed a bit dark she still liked it and kept it that way. Charlotte walked through the door with Hugo and Christiana, her mother dressed in a fancy sky-blue dress, and her dad dressed in a navy blue suit. Charlotte wore a light gray dress, her hair styled in a Dutch crown. Charlotte noticed that Sophia nor her parents were present. Christiana and Hugo took a seat around the table in the lifeless meeting room. Charlotte made a note that the meeting room looked like a funeral room but way more depressing than it should be.
Charlotte took a seat, and Emma smiled brightly. "I've been in better meeting rooms than this." a voice suddenly broke the silence. Charlotte looked in the direction where the voice was coming from. Sophia was in a bright yellow dress. "Haven't we all," Charlotte said in her tone indicating that the moment was possibly uncalled for. "Well yes, It's not like I've been in meeting rooms before," Sophia scoffed as she took a seat next to her parents as well. Charlotte noticed that everyone had aged, she hadn't noticed it before but today was just noticeable. All the flaws were shown as if they were obvious to see, "How has everyone been? We haven't seen each other in three years." Julia said she gave off a less strict but soft tone. "We've been good, and we are very proud that Emma has finally opened her very own business," Aina said, smiling softly at Julia. "That's very great to hear, I'm also proud of Sophia because she also has opened her own business," Julia said she looked at Aina but she then turned her attention to Christiana.
"What about you Christiana? How's Lotta?" Julia asked how Charlotte had been doing since they haven't all met up in three years. Charlotte's nickname was Lotta since before being named Lotta she was instead nicknamed Latte. Charlotte hated the name Latte and she wanted to change it, her aunt Julia chose the name Lotta, and that name stuck with her since then. Christiana put on a slightly nervous smile, and she then looked directly at Julia. "Well, how do I put this? Charlotte is now famous... In terms that she debunked an ancient civilization. That was technically erased from history up until three years ago." Christiana said rapidly, she wasn't sure if anyone understood what she had just said, but she was prepared to repeat it.
Their faces quickly turned into shocked expressions, "How is that possible?" Julia asked if she wanted to believe what Christiana had said but wasn't sure if she was telling the truth or a lie. Christiana shrugged and said, "I'm not sure about that, maybe ask Lotta." Christiana made an expressionless look, Christiana had noticed in three years that had passed that Charlotte had changed drastically. She wasn't sure how Charlotte had changed but she was sure that something had changed. Julia then turned to look at Charlotte, "Darling, how is that possible? I mean other people have done it in the past, but right now in the world? How could you solve it?" Julia asked if she wanted to hear about Charlotte's discovery.
Julia waited patiently, Charlotte's palms started to sweat, she wasn't sure how, to begin with. "It was when Emma visited, about three years ago, I went to the home library and I had already finished my homework. I picked up a book with a very old cover, and I noticed a civilization that used to be named unknown since they had all been thought to be wiped out of existence." Charlotte had managed to muster it out, she was hesitant and was weary of Julia. "I got very invested in it, so I started to research and I found out that it was somehow connected to the necklace and found out that there are many people who are involved with the civilization, but it seems that I'm the only one with the pure blood lineage that is perfectly intact even after many years. I found the small monument and I asked for funds because obviously, I wasn't going to ask any of you or my parents to fund my project. Then an organization called Primal Industries reached out to me and offered to fund my project. I agreed to the funding and their terms. Suddenly I made headlines and proclaimed that I had rewritten history somehow. I don't believe in that statement anyways, but still, the artifacts that I found with the help of Primal Industries are now placed in two museums."
Emma broke the silence by saying "So do people know who you are?" Charlotte shook her head, "No, they don't know my name, I go by the name Anon since I posted on a forum post as anonymous." Charlotte replied she wasn't used to speaking a lot, she was only used to small talk conversations.
Emma nodded, then the meeting began. Charlotte wasn't paying much attention since she was sleepy, she had woken up early just to go to the boring meeting that she was going to be in for another few hours.
Charlotte sat in the chair, she looked up at the ceiling. Barely listening to the conversation, the seal that Jane had placed on the necklace had been weakening slowly, but the seal still held its grip on the necklace. The necklace still gathered and released energy, but it released so much energy that it could barely hold more than half of the gathered energy.
Once the meeting was over, Sophia invited Emma and Charlotte to lunch. Sophia had ordered lunch beforehand, "I hope you don't mind." Sophia says, "It's fine, I don't mind what I consume, ya know?" Emma said she noticed that all the adults had left the room. "Where did you know, where'd they all go?" Emma asked as she looked around the room. "Don't worry they left to talk about more important things," Sophia said she assured her that Emma shouldn't worry. Eating lunch with Emma and Sophia was boring to Charlotte, they always talked about business which irritated Charlotte.
Both Sophia and Emma noticed that Charlotte was quiet. "You've been quiet, is everything okay?" Emma questioned she looked directly into Charlotte's eyes, Charlotte looked at Emma, "Look I'm feeling left out. Isn't that visibly clear? Are you blind?" Charlotte said in an irritated tone. "If you don't want to talk about business then you can go," Emma said she was also getting upset at Charlotte. Both Charlotte and Emma were getting upset at each other, so Charlotte got up and left the meeting room.
Timeskip is here! Also, Charlotte is now 15 years old, entering high school.
