Ice Cold Fangs

Prologue

Author's note: Surprise! Something not from my God box au. I didn't feel like waiting until October to post this, because of theming. 

Also, this is rated mature because of blood and gore. Not smut.

October 30th, 2011

A man laid on an old hospital bed, in an old house, the walls were cracked, and paint was chipping off. An IV bag filled with blood was next to him, the end of it taped near his mouth.

 The man was wearing a purple shirt with black overalls and wearing black boots. However, they all were stained with blood, his pants ripped in some places and claw marks were noticeable on his arms.

He opened his eyes and jolted up; he grabbed the tube that was taped on his face and ripped it off. He cringed a little as some of the tape took off some of his beard.

The man tried to calm himself down, taking in deep breaths and listening to his heartbeat. But that was odd...

He couldn't feel it.

Almost like, he no longer had it.

The man tried to remember on what had happened, but his mind was coming to a blank. Everything was coming to a blank.

He couldn't remember anything.

"I see you're finally awake." A voice called out.

The man looked over at the corner, to see blood red eyes staring back at him.

He gulped. "Who are you? Where am I? What happened to me?" 

The person with the red eyes looked sorrowful. "You are at my base, you got attacked by a rouge group of vampires, I tried to save you but... it was too late. The process had already begun, you were turning into a vampire." 

The man started to shake. Tears began to flow down his face, except, they weren't normal tears, he was crying blood.

The person with the blood red eyes gave the man a tissue. 

"I'm sorry." They said to him. "There was nothing I could do... but to take you in."

"Thank you... uh..." The man didn't have a name for his savior.

The person with the red eyes let out a soft chuckle. "Please, call me...
