Author's note: Let's go lesbians! Let's go!

"Alright, guys." Three turned to face the rest of the pod, Terrance was outside in wolf form. "We'll be back before sunrise. Make sure Eggy goes out for a walk and has something to eat for the morning."

Desti had a teasing smile. "Don't worry mama bear, we've all done this before." Three huffed, meanwhile Desti heard Melody giggling behind them. "Eggy's in good hands. Now, enjoy your hunt."

Three gave Eggy one last pet goodbye and he was off, leaving the other vampires to do as they pleased.

Axol grabbed some of his hair. "Hey, Desti?" He asked, a scrunched up look on his face. "Is there any place in Siclica city that has any hair dye?"

Desti could see Axol's hair really starting to be a real mess, the pink color was barely there.

"Sure, I'll take you to the place I usually go to." Desti grabbed Eggy's leash, alerting the pooch. "Let's head over to one of the tunnels, it's way faster than walking there normally."

Meggy was in her vampire hunting outfit again, this time she was patrolling near where the latest murder took place.

Suddenly, she felt her arm being pulled into the alleyway, she let out a quick yelp. But before she could attack, the person who pulled her aside turned out to be...

"Mario?" Meggy said with genuine confusion. "W-What are you doing here?"

"What is Mario doing here? What are you doing here?" Mario's face turned from angry to sad. "Mario doesn't want to see you or Glitchy to get hurt."

Meggy wasn't surprised, of course he would've listened to her and Luke's "conversation" earlier.

She sighed. "Mario, I'll be fine. I can handle myself, don't worry. I have everything I need to kick ass, even vampires." Mario looked down. "Hey, it's still very sweet you care, Red."

Mario hugged Meggy. "Please be safe." His voice was hush.

Meggy smiled. "Don't worry, I'll be fine." They both let go from the hug. "Now," Meggy began, she turned to face the street she was on. "I have a job to do. I'll see you later, Mario."

Mario watched his friend walk away; he couldn't help but feel a pit forming in his stomach.

He just hopes he doesn't lose his two best friends in the whole world.

"Okay, remember to put on your human disguises. We don't need to people to panic about vampires being real." Desti reminded the couple.

Melody nodded, giving the older vampire a thumbs up.

All vampires have human disguises, it makes easier to blend in with the humans.

Sometimes, Desti wonders if some vampires had found a way to even walk in the daylight.

It was quiet, there were not many people out tonight.

No doubt because of the recent murder.

When they reached the store, Desti spoke up. "You guys go on ahead in, this place doesn't allow dogs, and I rather not leave Eggy out by herself."

"Okay, don't worry emo girl," Axol said. "We'll be back in a flash."

The store door closed. Desti looked down at Eggy, the pooch was staring off into the distance. "What are you looking at?" Desti asked in a baby voice. The vampire couldn't really see anything. "There's nothing over there."

Eggy let out a small bark, before trying to dash off.

Desti held on to the leash with all her might. "Woah! Hey!" She yelled. "Eggy, I already told you there's nothing over there!"

Desti wasn't sure if it was the full moon making her weaker, or Eggy becoming an adult, but the leash snapped in two and Eggy zoomed off.

"Eggy!" Desti shouted. "Three's gonna kill me." She mumbled to herself.

------------------------------------------------------------------

Meggy was nearing closer to the store where the latest body was found.

That's when she heard it. The sound of something jingling.

Meggy reached into the pouch and was ready to pull out a stake. The jingling got louder, Meggy was ready to strike when.

The jingling turned out to be a small white dog, the leash looked like it broke.

Meggy let out a sigh, she let go of the stake. "You scared me for a second there." She walked over to the dog and picked it up. She struggled for a second. If she had to guess, this dog was probably around fifteen to twenty pounds.

Meggy could hear footsteps approaching, most likely to be the dog's owner.

If Luke was here, he would 100% tease her. As a very pretty lady ran up.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Desti stopped running when she saw Eggy in someone's arms.

"Thanks so much for catching her, I don't know what got into her." Desti finally took a good look at the person who holding Eggy in her arms.

A young girl, in her early twenties, with bright ginger hair and has a million freckles sprinkled all over her face.

The girl spoke. "It's no problem, she did scare me for a second there." She let out a chuckle. "Oh, where are my manners? I'm Meggy."

"I'm Desti, and the little sweetie you're holding in your arms right now is Eggy."

Meggy raised an eyebrow, a small smirk on her face. "Eggy?"

Desti waved her hand. "My roommate named her, it was a very accurate description when we first found her, she was this tiny little fluff ball." She had her hands spaced out to make a shape of about the size of a tennis ball.

Meggy let out an aww. Eggy barked in her arms, moving a bit. She put Eggy back down on to the ground. "Well, it's been nice meeting you Desti. But I have very important things to attend to..." Meggy waved goodbye. " Hope to see you again! And stay safe!"

Desti waved goodbye back. She felt Eggy pawing at her feet. "What?" She asked. "She was just being nice, I don't think she's -"

"Desti?" She turned around to see Axol and Melody behind her, a small plastic bag in Axol's hand. "What are you doing all the way over here?" Melody tilted her head.

Desti is so glad her face can't blush like it used to. "Eggy decided to run off." She said, picking up said pooch from the ground. "We got what we need. Let's head home now."

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Meggy got to the comic bookstore. Police tape surrounded the store. Meggy ducked under the tape. Her mind flashed back to what happened about five minutes ago.

She shook that out of her head, her face slightly pink. "Focus Meggy! You're on a mission." She looked down to see the outline of the body once was.

'Besides, dating someone right now, with everything going on... seems like a recipe for disaster.'
