I try to calm my breathing as I turn to look at Nezuko-Nee. Tears starts to stream down my cheeks, realizing she's still breathing. "You're still alive, Nee-San. Thank God" I said, placing my forehead on hers while hugging her tightly. But she no longer human. She have turned into a demon.

-Journey To Mt. Sagiri-

Y/N P.O.V

"We still have to find a way to take Nee-San with us. But she can't get expose to sunlight. Do you have a plan, Onii-Chan?" I said, while still hugging Nee-San. Onii-Chan turn to look at me as he seem to think about it.

"I think I might... here, I'll carry her for now. We'll look somewhere safe to keep her" he said. I nod my head. He gently pick Nee-San up and onto his back. "Come on, Y/N..." he said, smiling softly at me. I stand up and follows him as he starts to walk.

A While Later

"Excuse me... is it okay if we take that basket and bamboos?" Onii-Chan asked, pointing at the basket laying around on the ground. We're currently at a farm. I turn to look at the man.

"Sure, go ahead. That basket have a bunch of holes in them" the man said. Onii-Chan and the man starts to argue back and forth. The man insisted that we take the basket and bamboos for free. While Onii-Chan insisted that we pay. In the end, he just slams the money on the man's hand... quite harshly.

I wince when I hear him wincing as we walk away. I turn to look at Onii-Chan, while carrying the bamboos. "Don't you think you being too harsh on him, Onii-Chan?" I said. He let out a nervous chuckle, making me roll my eyes.

By the time we reach the spot where Nee-San should be, only to realize she wasn't around. I look around, trying to spot my twin sister.

"Nezuko-Nee?" I called out. I turn my head, noticing my brother by the cave. He's calling out for Nee-San. I rush towards him and kneels down. "Nee-San?" I said.

"She's not here!" He said. I squint my eyes as I try to look in the dark. I notice someone appear from the hole on the ground. "There she is..." he said. I let out a sigh of relief at the sight of my twin sister. I thought she disappears or something.

"She dug a hole... she's really trying to get away from the sunlight" Onii-Chan said, making me nod my head. He turn his head to look at me. "Can you accompany her, Y/N? I'll start fixing the basket" he said.

"Okay..." I said. I walk further inside the cave and sit down by the hole. Onii-Chan walks off to start walking on the basket to carry Nee-San around. Nee-San turn to look at me, making me smile softly. "Everything will be okay, Nee-San..." I said. She closes her eyes, seemingly smile at me.

I hear footsteps and turn my head to see Onii-Chan. He walks towards us while holding the basket. "Nezuko... do you think you can fit in here? We'd like to continue our journey even in daylight. I'll carry you, okay?" He said. Nee-San just stares at him.

"Nee-San... can you get in? Basket..." I said, slowly while pointing at the basket. Nee-San slowly crawls out of the hole and try to get inside the basket. But obviously, she's too big.

"Kind of protruding, huh? You've both gotten so big now" Onii-Chan said, turning to look at me and caress my hair softly. I turn to him and smiles softly. I'm so lucky to have such a caring brother like him. "Eh, wait... the other day, you grew bigger like an adult. Do you think you can do the opposite? You know... get smaller?" He said.

"Get smaller, Nee-San... get smaller" I said, while gently patting her back. She slowly starts to move and tilt the basket upright. I yelp out of shock, worried that the basket might tipped over and she ended up falling. But it stays upright as she seem to have shrunken.

"Wahh, Nee-San

"Wahh, Nee-San. So cutee..." I said. Onii-Chan also give her a praise and a head pat. She closes her eyes as she seem to enjoy it, making me giggle softly.

We keep walking, occasionally ask some people for direction to the Mt. Sagiri. I feel tired but I know I can't ask Onii-Chan to carry me like he normally would on his back. Since he's already carrying Nee-San. So I just have to endure it.

I look up at the sky as the sun begins to set. So the three of us are walking. Onii-Chan turn his head to look at me. "Are you tired, Y/N?" He asked. I turn to look at him and nod my head.

I yelp when someone picks me up. I realize it's Nee-San. She have carried me on her back. She turn her head to look at me and closes her eyes, as always when she smiles.

"Thank you, Nezuko-Nee..." I said, placing my head on her shoulder. She adjust me so I wouldn't fall over. Onii-Chan smiles at the two of us. They start walking again. This time with me on Nee-San's back.

Onii-Chan suddenly stops. "I can smell blood... someone must have gotten hurt" he said. Nezuko-Nee gently lower me down. The three of us quickly rush forward, trying to get to the person in need as soon as possible. There are no other people around. If we just leave, the person's going to die.

"Are you okay??" Onii-Chan said, slamming the door open. I finally reach next to him and take a look inside the hut. I let out a shaky gasp at the horrid sight in front of me. There's a demon and it's devouring a human.

So this is what Saburo-San warned us about. The man-eating demons. Is this what my twin will be to if she ever try to eat a human?? No... she won't even harm anyone. It's never gonna happen to her. She's too gentle to even do something like this.
