Chapter 69

Previously on Chapter 68

By the time we reach his Estate, he's in the middle of training the slayers. I just stay silent as I watch him. His speed never cease to amaze me. It's amazing how he's able to move. Just like the mist. His moves are quite hard to predict. He's truly an amazing guy. Sometimes I still find it hard to believe that this guy is my boyfriend. He's just so amazing!

Y/N P.O.V

Muichiro has the edge of his bokken sword pointed at the slayer's chin. He glance at us, and starts to grin. "Y/N! Tanjiro! I've been waiting for you both!" He said, in an excited tone. I smile softly at him. He smiles happily at the sight of me, and drops the bokken sword. He rush over to me with his arms spread. He pulls me into a hug. He pulls away a little to look at me. "I've missed you so much, Y/N. I'm so sorry that I haven't been hanging out with you" he said, apologetically.

"It's fine, Mui-Chan. I understand that you're busy with training the slayers" I said, softly as I gently pat his head. He hums happily as he pulls me close again and nuzzles his face into the crook of my neck. I let out a soft giggle when his hair brush against my skin, feeling slightly ticklish.

I yelped when he suddenly picks me up, and let out a gleeful laugh when he picks me up. He starts to twirl us around. He eventually places me back on my feet as he keeps me close. He leans down, making my eyes widen as I realize what he's trying to do. I quickly covers his lips. There's a look of confusion reflecting in his eyes, making me smile.

"There's a lot of people here... and let's not forget that my brother is here too" I said, gesturing towards Onii-Chan. I move my hand from his lips. He let out a sigh as he seems to sulk a little, making me let out a soft giggle. "I'll give you a kiss when it's just two of us, okay?" I said. He just nodded his head.

"Who is she?" I heard someone said. I turn my head to see it's one of the Slayer. "She's really cute. Tokito-San leaned in close to her. Is she Tokito-San's girlfriend? He's so lucky" he added. I notice him staring at me with a dreamy face. I feel a deadly aura and turn my head to see Muichiro. He's glaring at the one who made that comment.

"For that comment... do more swings with the wooden sword, until your arms feel like they're about to fall off. Even so, do not stop unless I tell you to" Muichiro said. My eyes widen at what he said. He wrap an arm around my shoulder as he pulls me close. "This is to everyone. This girl right here is mine. If I hear anyone making a comment about her... they will be severely punished" he said.

"M-Mui-Chan..." I said. He turn his head to look at me. I turn my head to look at the Slayers. They stare at him with a pale face. "Don't be so harsh on them. Especially if you're giving them punishment simply because of me. It'll make me feel bad. So, please don't do that, okay?" I said.

"Fine... no punishment, just because my girlfriend asked me not to. Even so, I still don't wanna hear any of you making a comment about my girlfriend. I know that she's cute and beautiful. But I don't wanna hear any of that coming from you" he said. I let out a sigh at what he said. I turn my head away, feeling my cheeks starting to get warmer when I realize he had called me cute and beautiful so blatantly in front of these many people. He turn to look at me and let out a chuckle.

Well, at least these Slayers are not going to receive any consequences simply because they're talking about me. But damn, I didn't expect that Muichiro will be so harsh on his students. I didn't expect him to act all protective and well... possessive when it comes to me.

A While Later

I sit with my back resting against the wall. Onii-Chan is currently sparing against Muichiro. I just watch in awe at how energetic my brother seems as he go against my boyfriend.

Honestly, if I were to choose who of these I'm rooting for in this tittle sparing session. I probably won't be able to answer. On one hand, Tanjiro-Nii is my older brother. Then on the other hand, Muichiro is my boyfriend. Both of them are the people I cherish the most in this world. I just can't pick who I support more between them.

Their duel eventually comes to an end. Onii-Chan places his hands on his knees as he breathes heavily. Muichiro turn his head to look at me. "What about you? Do you wanna have a go?" He asked. I smile at him and nods my head. I grab the bokken sword next to me and stand up. I make my way towards him. "Go on... I'll let you have the first strike" he said.

"Please don't go easy on me, okay? I wanna be stronger. I can't be stronger if you go easy on me, Mui-Chan. Just treat me like how you treat the other slayers. Not as your girlfriend" I said. He just hums at what I said. I smile at him as I take his response as an agreement. I slowly lift the bokken sword higher as I take a stance. "Here I go!" I said. I lunges at him.

He swiftly blocks my attacks. I continue to try to attack him. But none of my attacks managed to land a hit. I mean, what do I expect?? He's a Hashira while I'm just an ordinary Slayer.

"One... o-one moment please" I said, placing my free hand on my knee while the other still holds onto the bokken sword. He just smiled at me, as he waits for me to catch my breath. I close my eyes as I take a deep long breath.

After a while, my breathing evened out. I open my eyes as I stare at Muichiro with determination. "All good. Okay, let's start again..." I said. I lunged at him, this time focusing more on each of my steps. I've gotten significantly faster.

"Good good! Just like that..." he said, as I continue to try and land at least one hit on him. He spins around and points his bokken sword right at my neck. "But yeah... you still need some more training. Let's take it easy for now. I don't want you ended up collapsing" he said. He slowly move his bokken sword from my neck. I let out a sigh and nod my head. I know that he's right. I might get sick if I force myself too far. So, for now... I'll take it easy.
