"You know..." Wooyoung randomly said.
"What?" We all turned to him.
"No, I don't know. You didn't finish the sentence." Yeosang said.
"Huh?" Wooyoung looked around.
"We know what?" Hongjoong asked.
"What are you talking about?"
"You said, you know, and then left it at that." Mingi said.
He looked at us weirdly. "No. I didn't say anything."
"Bro! What?!" San took the beer out of Wooyoung's hand. "Woo. You literally just randomly said 'You know' and then that was it."
"Are you sure? I don't remember saying anything.... Oo oo oooo did you guys know that... Shit, I forgot what I was going to say."
"You're pissing me off." I said.
"You're welcome."
"What is going on?" Mingi asked.
"Nobody knows." Jongho said.
I took the beer out of Hongjoong's hand.
"Hwa just let him." San said.
"I'm not going to let him get back into being an alcoholic again. Just because he and I aren't living in the same place anymore, it doesn't mean I'll just let him drink as much as he wants."
"I shouldn't even be drinking anyway." Hongjoong said. He laid his head on my lap. This is new. "I'm supposed to be sober! I have a photo shoot tomorrow and an interview!"
Yeosang did not look happy. I picked Hongjoong up and pushed him towards Jongho. Yeosang crawled onto my lap and narrowed his eyes at Hongjoong.
He wrapped his arms around my neck.
"It's ok." I whispered to him.
He mumbled something but I didn't understand it.
"Have you guys ever thought about having an orgy?" Wooyoung randomly asked.
"What is wrong with you?"
"A lot of things but yeah. Just wanted to ask."
"Well like you said Yunho and I are virgins. So no we haven't." Mingi said.
"Losers."
I rolled my eyes.
"Oh but what I want to know is, have you guys gone on any runs recently?" San leaned on the coffee table.
"Oh. Um, we were doing more of timed stuff recently." I said.
"Timed?"
I nodded. "We were basically racing to see who can steal the most in a certain amount of time or steal the more valuable stuff the fastest. Without triggering the alarms this time."
"You guys use to trigger the alarms?" Hongjoong asked.
Shit.
"Yeah. It was always a lot of fun running from the cops." Yeosang said. He took my drink. "We would literally wait there for the cops to show up so we can run. Sometimes we wanted some adrenaline so much that we would trigger it without stealing anything."
"You guys could have gotten caught. You know that right?" Jongho didn't sound happy.
"Don't you think we know that?" Yeosang rolled his eyes. "Like I said, it was just for fun."
"So you're saying risking your future is fun? Risking your friends' lives and careers is fun?"
Yeosang let out a deep breath. "Honestly Jongho, nobody asked. You guys have your fun and Seonghwa and I have our fun. I'm not telling you to stop your fun because it upsets me.
Why else do you think Seonghwa moved out? It was because of the last time you said shit. Now that we have our own place you still want to come and tell us shit?
Jongho nobody told you to..." I covered his mouth.
"Yeosang. Calm down. You don't want to lose a friend."
"No, tell me. I want to hear it." Jongho said.
"Jongho. Stop." Hongjoong said.
The others didn't look comfortable.
"We are here to hang out, not have arguments."
"I just want to hear what Yeosang has to fucken say because he seems to want to say a lot."
"Guys, please stop." Wooyoung really didn't like what was going on.
"Jongho if you're going to keep saying shit, then leave." Yeosang said. "I'm tired of you saying shit all the damn time."
"It's not my fault I care about our friends and you guys don't."
"Where the hell did you get that idea from? Seonghwa moved out so he can keep Hongjoong out of what he does. I don't go to any of you for what I do. We keep you guys out of the stuff we do because we know we can drag you guys down with us.
We only hang out with you as friends. You guys are the only ones always bringing it up.
We know we can fuck shit up if we get caught, why the fuck else do we keep you guys out of our business so don't you dare fucken say that we don't care about our friends."
"I think we should go..." Hongjoong stood up.
"What?" Jongho looked up at him.
"I said we are going. Either way, I need to get up early for tomorrow. Let's go." Hongjoong pulled Jongho up. They left without saying bye.
"I think we should go too." Mingi said. "I also have early schedules."
I nodded. "Yeah."
They said bye to us as they left.
"Sorry." San apologized.
"Sorry for what?"
"For bringing that stuff up around Jongho. We know how he gets about that stuff but it's just nice to see how happy you guys are doing that stuff and it's really interesting to hear. We should have asked when he wasn't around."
I shook my head. "It's not your fault. I understand his perspective but he needs to tone it down a little."
"Yeah but we also have to go. We have to help Wooyoung's mom with something... Shit we were supposed to be there half an hour ago. Shit! Ok bye!" San grabbed Wooyoung's arm and ran out the door.
"Bye-bye!" Wooyoung blew a kiss and closed the door.
"I'm taking a shower." Yeosang got up and took my beer.
I very rarely see him in a bad mood and every time, I don't know how to help him calm down.
I got up and started to clean up the living room. Picking up all the beer bottles and plates. Throwing out empty containers and boxes.
I turned the lights off and walked into the bathroom.
"Yeosang."
Going over to him and sitting on the edge of the tub. I patted his head. He tugged on my shirt. I got undressed and got in with him. He handed me the empty bottle.
"You shouldn't drink so much."
"I didn't. That was my second one."
"Jongho is trying to look out for everyone. You don't need to be mad."
"I know. I just don't like the way he says shit."
"He does need to tone it down a bit but he isn't wrong."
He just hummed. I didn't say anything else about it. He clearly doesn't want to talk about it.
We just stayed in there. We didn't talk at all. He just wasn't having any of it.
I hate when he gets upset.
