The car ride was a roller coaster of emotion. I never thought there would ever come a time when I had to talk about my feelings with her. My real and raw feelings that I've stored for a long time.

It was true when I told her about losing my right. I have feared that Benedict's contract has ruined our relationship so badly that it's beyond fixing. I had hope and stubbornness for making her mine but her feeling something in return for me? I was never prepared for it.

When she asked me if I was okay, I was taken aback. I was happy obviously but there was something else. Gratefulness? That there's still a chance to work our relationship. Mend the cuts and make something beautiful.

I turned to a private neighborhood and stopped in front of my villa. "Mi Zorro," I say,

She didn't reply.

I unbuckled my seatbelt with one hand because she was holding the other rather tightly. I lean a little to her and incline her seat forward. Her drowsy head falls on my shoulder blade with a light snore.

Now, how am I supposed to bring her in? It would've been a lot better if she wasn't holding my hand like a life support machine, not that I am complaining but I really don't want her to strain her back sleeping like this.

I softly untangled our hands and went to her side. I open the door and slowly unbuckle her belt. She leans to my side as I bring my hands underneath her thighs and pick her up. Exactly, where she belongs. My arms.

The minute I slip her out of the car and secure my hold on her, she decides to loop her arms around my neck and snuggle. God. This feels good. Feels mine.

I shut the door with my hips and carried her inside my abode.

"Good evening sir," My butler greets me at the door. I nod and walk past him. My other house servants come by the door and gasps seeing Olivia in my arms.

I observe their looks before calling Maria, the head of staff. She is around my grandmother's age so when she comes slightly bent by the corridor I look at her. "Maria, get me some clothes and ask them to prepare dinner," I tell her before making my way to the bedroom.

By the time I put Olivia on the bed and had Maria change her clothes to one of my t-shirts, I was done instructing my house servants. As I expected, not only were they smiling ear-to-ear on hearing the news that my wife was finally here, but they were jumping and hugging each other like I brought a puppy.

I wouldn't blame them. Besides me, they have also been waiting for this day. Having a madam and finally being besties with her. One thing my grandmother passed to me before her death is her trusted people who looked after me from the beginning.

Everyone who serves me in this house is like my second family after my parents. They follow my orders like butter on bread. We're too comfortable with each other. I don't particularly appreciate treating people with fear, yes there are some I have tightened the leash around like my gardener.

Others go back and forth from being friendly or professional but I have maintained a line where neither of us has to cross a line and forget that I am still their boss. Just because I treat them with respect and care doesn't mean they can take advantage of it.

I went back to my bedroom leaving a group of giggling house servants behind but not before hearing them say, "I can't believe he finally got his wife here," and "She was in his arms, that's such a couple thing," and something more like, "I can finally get to call someone Mrs. Hill" and my favorite, "They look so good together." I have to call Luca and ask him to them a raise.

By the time I went back to my room, Maria had Mi Zorro changed into my clothes and tucked her on the bed. I stood by the bedroom door, half leaning as I watched her in my bed, holding my pillow, wrapped in my sheets. It feels too real.

Like somehow my imagination has taken a jump in the reality pool and brought my fantasies to life. I quickly shower and change before calling Luca and getting an update on the situation.

"The CCTVs weren't working from nine to eleven," Luca tells me. I was in my study room tapping my fingers on my oakwood desk.

"Did you get any traces of anyone coming in and out of the building?"

"The camera by the street showed a hooded man but the footage is blurry. We haven't identified yet,"

"What about the fingerprint I found on the car,"

He pauses, then exhales "About that, Sonya wasn't in the lab so we sent the fingerprint to Klaus Myers,"

My finger stopped, "Olivia's brother?"

"Yes, boss,"

Fuck. If Klaus finds out about the person he will notify Olivia and there's a high chance she will try to take matters into her hand. Judging by her look in the car, she wouldn't sit this one even if I told her to.

I need to call him and ask him to report the results straight to me. I hung up on Luca and dialed Klaus but before he could answer, Maria came knocking on my door before dropping the bomb.

"Sir, We couldn't find Mrs. Hill,"
