The camera blinked twice and I got out of my cover. I look up, signaling Klaus who is watching me right now.

"You can't go in," he says, "You're not armed Liv, and Asher doesn't know you found their hideout in the hotel,"

"I won't call it a hideout," I said connecting the Bluetooth and putting on my earpiece. The phone is back inside my pocket, relieving my hands to move freely for attack.

"Listen, I know you want to save her but we have no idea what is behind the door. You have to stop thinking emotionally and start looking at facts. Form a plan before you end up marching in there and risking both yours and Kaia's lives."

Kaia is Marcello's daughter. When Klaus told me about her and the possibility of her being somewhere inside the hotel, I knew I had to do something. It was the first lead we got about her and I wasn't going to sit back.

Benedict has done a great job hiding her from the sights. Not even our best technicians could find her in the three weeks but now that I know she is here. So close to me, I will save her. No matter what happens, I will get her out of their claws before I leave for Hudson.

I may have to ask Asher to kill them because my priority just shifted. An innocent's life is much more valuable to me than killing rotten human beings. They will be dealt but risking a life isn't something I am going to take.

I promised Marcello that I would find his daughter and bring her home safely. Unlike last time when he needed me, I wasn't there and that led him to Benedict. This time I won't repeat the same mistake. I am present and I am trained. I am going to save his daughter no matter the risk.

I stretch my hands up and crack my neck, "You're right, Klaus. I won't risk our lives but I am also not letting her stay alone with them. Whatever is behind the door, I'll deal with it. Armed or not, I am going in,"

"No wait just give me a second," He hurriedly says and starts typing. The clicking of the keyboard sound echoes in the background. So rushed I paused.

"Hurry up,"

"Just a sec,"

I roll my eyes.

"Yes!" he screams into the microphone. "Found it. There's a storage room on this floor. It's weirdly suspicious since the past records of people who entered that room showed Benedict's men. They might've hidden armory in there,"

Bingo. I knew I could count on Klaus. "Perfect, lead me there sir,"

"Already on it, mam,"

It barely took me time to find the armory room and equip myself with weapons. Klaus was excellent and incredibly precise with giving directions. He left no room for misguidance or wasted time. He knew how time was my enemy and guided so perfectly, I got a deja vu of our first mission together.

The first board member that I killed and Klaus executed the same guidance as today. He led me to the storage room in less time possible and needless to say when I got there, I quickly round myself with gears and a protective shield.

Although the armory room wasn't up to my expectations. I thought there'd be big rifles and shotguns but found pistols instead. There wasn't a silencer attached to them which meant the gun would make a loud noise if fired. I don't know if I should take one unless I want to alarm the whole place about a war breaking.

Instead, I settled with knives. Lots and lots of them. I like knives, they are sharp and lethal just one strike and it'll do the deed. In fact, the main weapon of any of my torture was a knife. I know all the pulse points that'll lead to instant death, sometimes I weaponize it enough to make it slow and painful. Vital organs that need to be avoided, defense position from getting hit, and easily accessible body parts that'll fasten the strike like the front of the neck, forearm, lower abdomen, or groin.
