I take the train to school today and don't bother to bring my board with me. I don't want to break it with the weird amount of strength I have now. I still can't seem to fathom what is going on with me. While rethinking the events of the past day, suddenly, my wrist starts to hurt making me get a headache. Moving my sleeves out of the way, I rub my wrist to try to ease the pain. In doing so, a white and greenish fluid comes out. I jump back in my seat in surprise and horror. What the hell is that?

It's still attached to me. I look closer and it looks like there is a small hole in my wrist. Oh my fucking god, what is happening to me?! Am I dying?! I tug on the web like string and it tears away from my wrist. I squint, thinking it'll be painful, but it wasn't. I open my backpack and find my lunchbox. I open and toss aside my pretzels in the box to make room for this substance and that just came out from my wrist.

I'll look at it after school in the science room a little more closely. It's sticky and feels like it's covered in liquid. After placing it in the snack sized baggie, I look at my finger tips and see that the green ooze left a residue on my hands. I wipe it off on my sweatpants. Out of curiosity, I try to do it again. This time, I whip my hand out and do the rockstar hand motion. (🤟-I didn't know how to describe it) it happens again, but now I seem to have control over it a little more. Sick!

I reach my stop still in amazement. I need to be extra careful at school to not draw any unwanted attention to myself.

I go through my day normally, expect for the fact that I feel like I can hear and sense everyone, until lunch. I'm starving and so tired. I take out my lunch at my table and start eating it. I start scrolling through my phone to try and figure out hat is happening to me. Nothing is helping me. Out of no where, my teeth are starting to hurt. Maybe it's because I bit on my carrot too hard?  But this pain is unbearable. I pack up my things and start to walk over to to the bathroom. I look around me to make sure that no suspects anything, but everyone is just minding their own business.

When I entered the bathroom, there was no one there. Great start. I walk up to the mirror and lean over to where my face is only about three inches away from the mirror and look at my teeth. What. The. Hell. My canines at sharp. They look like vampire teeth. Am I transforming into a weird vampire? Looks like I'm not talking to anyone today.

I stick through the rest of the day, still with my teeth hurting. The feeling of hearing everyone started to settle down. I think I am starting to be able to control it. I was able to ease drop on my teachers talking about a prep rally that is coming up soon. Boring stuff, but hey, I'm able to control it and it's not unbearable.

Finally, the bell rings at the end of the day. I get up from my seat and make my way to my locker like I've done everyday, but this time I gently open the lock to not break it. I grab some books that I took from the library to help me figure out what the hell this substance is and what's going on with me. I make my way down the hall and I see my biology teacher walking into their room. "Hello, y/n. Do you need something?" "Actually I was wondering if I was able, to use the microscopes for a personal project? It should take long." I ask in a nervous tone. "Yeah go ahead, I have to grade papers anyway." "Thank you," I say as I start to walk over to my usual spot in the class.

I set my books down and grab a microscope along with a glass plate. I set down my supplies and get to work observing the now mush substance from earlier. Damnit! It got squished during the day, and what is this? I look at the bag and there is a hole in it. It looks like it melted through. I look over at my teacher who was too busy to notice what I was doing. I moved my sleeve, twip, I look over to her just in case to see if she noticed. Nope she didn't. Good. I continue with what I was doing and looked at it through the microscope.

After some investigating, there is this toxic like substances that is encased in the web and that explains how the bag was burned through. That's about how far I got with it before my teacher said it was time to go. I thanked her and left the building. I need to test my new abilities out.

I took the train home and walked into my house. My mom of course asked me where I was, and I just told her I needed help with a project. She brushed it off and told me to just tell her next time. I nodded in agreement, apologizing, saying I will next time.

I go through the kitchen, place my bag on the table and head to the back door. I shut the door carefully to not break it or to make any noise. I look at the apartment building. I know that it's about 15 stories. Not too bad. I put my hand on the rough bricks and my other one follows suit. What am I doing? I put my foot on the wall as well. I start to climb the wall. I look down, what the hell, I can walk on walls! I'm like a goddamn spider!

I reach the top of the building, admiring the view of Brooklyn. How strong are these webs? I see a part of a broken brick and attach a web to it. I let it dangle from my hand, it doesn't hurt, and it's sticking! Let's test how far these things can go. I go towards the back of the building where I climbed up. I see a tree a couple hundred feet away, I aim, and shoot. I made it!

Final test, can it carry my weight. Only one as to find out, a leap of faith. I spot a tree across the street from my apartment building. I decided to shoot a long web form my location to there so that just I'm case it couldn't carry my weight, I wouldn't fall to my death.

This is it. I count down in my head; three, two, one! I jump, holding onto the thread like substance for dear life. At first my eyes are closed, but I open them to see myself swinging through the air like a swing. I look up at the web so see the state of it. It looks as good as new! Ha-ha!

I jump off the web and land gracefully on the ground. I come to the realization, I'm like a god damn superhero!

I need to train, but I can't do that here. Avengers Tower is only a few hour train ride away. It's decided, this weekend I'm going to the Avengers Tower.
