Love From Another Universe

"Miguel, I can explain-" I start to say but I'm cut off. "No, no you can't! Do you know how bad this is?" I stand there frozen, I don't know how to react other than to stand in silence.

"This has ripped the multiverse! People from other universes are appearing in others, glitching!" "But, why didn't the other Peters glitch out?" I ask in a softer tone than I wanted.

"y/n, I don't know, the multiverse is weird and unusual and not a single person knows everything about it!" He snaps, "So if they didn't glitch out, it was meant to happen! Think about Miguel, people are only going to glitch in universes they aren't meant to mess with! That's why the villains and the other Spidermen's didn't glitch."

"That's besides the point, y/n. You're theory could be true, but this could've been prevented earlier if you did your job." "But I did do my job, my job is to make sure Earths or other universes don't collapse. I'm pretty sure Earth-199999 didn't collapse, Miguel." I say at him in my teenage, sarcastic tone.

He shakes his head in defeat, "Whatever you say, y/n. I'll let you go on this one but don't let it happen again. This one was too close for comfort. You're lucky we have enough people to take care of the other villains seeping into other universes." There was a pause, "There's one more thing I want to talk about."

I lift my head, please don't let it be what I think it is. He reveals a picture on his computer screen, it's me and Peter 3. "y/n, I-I know how you feel, but you know this can't work out." Tears well in my eyes at the sight of Peter.

"Miguel, please don't do this." "I'm sorry, you know it can't happen. It would break the rules." The tears are falling. "Miguel, I haven't felt like I belonged anywhere until I met them. You have to understand Miguel. Please!" The tears are falling faster as I plead with him.

"I won't mess up the universe by visiting a few times! I'll still do my job here, b-but," my voice is cracking. My eyes aren't eyes anymore, they're a faucet. My legs feel weak, "Please, Miguel. I don't want to be coupe up here my whole life. Let me live."

He looks at me with sympathy. Him and I are more alike than we would ever know. I can tell he knows it, he longs to be in my position. We stare at each other for what seems like an eternity.

"please..." I whisper. "y/n. I'm sorry but I can't let you do this." he says in a sorrowful, pity voice. I look at him in misery. I'm filled with anger. I stiffen up and I snap.

"Miguel, you can punish me for your mistakes!" I yell. What the hell did I just say? I regret it as soon as it comes out of my mouth. He looks hurt, like he's been shot. "Miguel I'm sorry, I don't mean it. I was just anger. Miguel, I'm-" he cuts me off, "Leave." "Miguel, please I didn't-"

"LEAVE." he yells, showing his teeth. I nod, and turn away leaving. My eyes are heavy and dried up from all the crying. I don't think I can cry anymore.

I exit his office area and I see Jessica standing outside, waiting for me. "Jessica, I'm so sorry." I say sniffling. She opens her arms, I hug her tight.

"I-I just want to belong somewhere." I say through my sniffles. "I get it, but sometimes things aren't meant to be." This breaks me even more.

I let go of her and give her a thank you smile. I walk away to my dorms. Since I have no home, I stay here at headquarters.

I open the door, slam it shut, and fall onto my bed. You know what? I don't care what Miguel says. I have my watch, I can go anywhere I want. I'm not a child anymore, I can fend for myself.

I decided to wait until everyone was asleep or gone. I took a quick power nap after mr sleepless couple hours.

When I awake, it's the perfect time. I get up and change into normal clothes. I grab my backpack and pack the essentials, suit, food, change of clothes, toothbrush, etc.

There's no need to leave my room, it's big enough to hold a portal. Wait, I don't know what Earth Peter 3 is from. If I go into Miguel's office, he has to have records on the events that took place yesterday with all their info.

Damnit looks like I do need to leave my room.

I slowly open my door, making sure it doesn't make any noise. I slowly creep around  to Miguel's side of the building. I actually don't know where he sleeps at night.

It's so dead and quiet here, it's never like this. I continue to walk towards his end. I hear something coming from his office. I continue to creep inside. I turn the corner to see a video playing on repeat.

I recognize the video. It's the one that was playing when I first arrived, with him and the little girl.

I look closer at his desks and he's sleeping. Let's hope Lyla is also asleep. I continue my journey to some papers thrown on the floor. They are label Earth-19999. Perfect!

I open it and start flipping through. It has to be in here somewhere. I continue flipping through until the end. There it is! It's a picture of me hugging the other Peters. I see that he labeled each Earth we are from.

Before I could take a closer look at them, I hear him awaking. This is bad. His desk is in the air, so I grab the piece of paper and shove it into my bag.

I quickly climb up to bottom of his desks. I feel something shutter, the platform, it's moving down!

This is bad, this is really bad. As I was trying to figure out how to get out of here before I'm crushed. I see him swing away out of his office.

When I see him disappear from view, I jump out from under the desk. This was easier than I thought it was going to be.

I look at the papers. I look at Peter 3 and it says he's from Earth-120703.

I put the numbers in my watch, and a portal appears in front of me. I step through, I'm immediately transported to a New York at night. I look around to see myself on a building. A really, really tall building.

How am I going to find him? I walk toward the edge of the building, the portal closes behind me. I sit down, taking in the amazing view.

"y/n?" I hear a familiar voice say. I turn around, there he is, Peter 3.

"Peter?"
