Finally the weekend rolls around. I tell my mom I'm going to the Captain America Expo for my history projects. When I leave the house I decided to web my way to the train station. Why not get some practice in? I've been practicing a little leading up to this but this time I'm going to see how fast I can go. I start swinging from building to building.

I feel more alive then I have ever felt. While in between swinging, I decide to ditch the train; I'll get there by myself. I feel the wind blow through my hair as I travel faster than I think I ever have. I jump from the buildings, crawl on then, I do flips, anything that you can imagine. This is amazing. All the worries I had before just seem to float away the faster I swing through Brooklyn into New York.

I reach New York faster than the train could ever take me. I land on top of the Avengers Tower. This probably isn't a great way to introduce myself, so I lower  myself to the front door. Damn, I'm really hungry and tired from all this swinging.

I walk up to the receptionist desk. "Hello, um I was wondering if I was able to talk to Tony Stark?" The receptionist look at me with an, are you serious face, and said, "look kid, you are going to need an appointment to see him. You can't just come in and ask to see him." "Right, sorry about that." They scoff at me in disbelief as I start to walk out the door. Why did I think that would work? They didn't need to be mean about it though.

I walk outside and look at the building. You know what, I tried doing it the nice way, looks like I'm going for the "home invasion way". This is such a bad idea but I need to do this. I scale the building and start swinging, praying that no body notices me. I make it to the top where there seems to be a landing of sorts. I admire the view. I can see everything from up here.

Suddenly, I feel as if eyes were staring at me. I look behind me to see Tony Stark himself staring at me. I stood there in silence and disbelief. "Well this is a unique way for fans to try to see me," he says finally. "Im not a fan, well I am but not I'm that type of way." I start to stumble over my words. "So how the hell did you get up here." "I -uh swung up here," I say while looking down at my hands. He looked at me as if I'm crazy, which is understandable. "Umm sure kid, time to call security." He starts to open up his phone, but before he can, I use my webs to grab his phone. We share another moment of awkward silence. "Now do you believe me?" I finally say, "yep" he responds. "Come inside". While walking to the door, I awkwardly handed him his phone back.

We entered the tower and I'm surrounded by glass windows. I look around in awe, and I see someone in the kitchen, Vision. "Sir, who is this?" Vision says as he notices the unexpected guest, "What's your name kid" he whispers to me, "uh y/n", "her name is y/n and I'm here to help her with a sticky situation." He looks at me and winks, very funny. Vision looks at him in disbelief but shrugs it off. "Whatever you say sir".

Tony guides me down a flight of stairs to what appears to be his workspace, lab, thing? "Okay kid, what do you want?" "Okay hear me out, I want to train and possibly join the Avengers." He looks at me with a puzzled, irritated look. "Hear me out! You don't have someone with my type of abilities. Yes, I just got these abilities not even a week ago, but I was able to swing her all the way from Brooklyn so I think that shows you how much I can improve in a short amount of time." I take a break from talking to read his expression, it barely changed but he looks a little impressed, but I could be making that up.

"I can learn quick, I have a unique skill set that stills needs to be discovered. For instance," I shoot out a bit of webbing into my other hand, "I don't know what this green ooze, goop, stuff is that incased in my webbing. That could keep you busy when you are bored, and I would help of course." I added but then start to trail off into a rant that made me look desperate.

I was starting to realize my answer to the question was so hard filled out. I wanted to be a superhero, I wanted my life to mean something. Not just be a blip in time, a person you pass by in the street and never think about again. I want to be the person kids look up to and are excited to see. I want to be a role model.

I think Tony can see this realization and spark of motivation from me. "Look kid I admire your heart. You have good points, you do, but you are just a child. We can't put you out in danger like that. What would your parents think?" "That's the thing, they don't know and won't know. I'll just tell them I'm getting tutored, or that I have an internship here so things don't look suspicious. Please Mr. Stark, I want my life to mean something. You don't have to put me out on the playing field just yet. I just want training and to understand my abilities at this point in time. But I know one day you will need me and I will be there to answer the call no matter what." After a short pause I mumble, "I also want a cool suit." He laughs, "I figured. You're a smart, brave kid. I'll give you that. I'll have to console with the rest of the team."

I give him my number for when he decides. I thank him and ask for some food. I'm starving. That's a side effect. I get really tired and hungry after." He nods and shows me to the kitchen. I make myself a sandwich and eat it right then and there. I wave goodbye and leave. This time I walked downstairs and looked at the receptionist. They give me a shocked look. I laugh as I leave the building, looking at it one last time, I have a good feeling about this.

One week later...

I get a message from an unknown number: Come to Avengers tower. It's time you met your team. -Stark

A/n: WOOP WOOP another thousand words! I promise things will get to the point! There will be a few little scenes I would like to get more in depth to about the character but other than that WE ARE GETTING CLOSER TO THEM MEETING! Thanks for reading again! <3
