Not Time Travel Again

So to catch up on all the drama we missed while away from Central City, Harry nearly died from a bullet shot by none other than the elusive Patty Spivot. Caitlin of course saved him, but it was a lot of drama for her while no one was there to assist her. 

Now, we are all headed to a safe house in the middle of nowhere, and quite frankly I no longer wanted to help as my headaches were being a bitch. But as a superhero doing a crossover, I must fight the pain.

"Barry, Sam you're late," Oliver shouted, as Cisco, Barry and myself entered the safe house where all Team Arrow and Caitlin were present with all their equipment. 

"Sorry, it turns out it's not easy finding the ass-end of nowhere," Barry replied.

"Amen," I added.

"Yeah, for real. The roaming charges alone are going to bankrupt me," Cisco said, staring at his phone in fear. I would be afraid to if I had no savings.

"We're discussing how to take away Savage's new-found power," Oliver told us, and I had a simple answer. We couldn't, we are doomed. I am being a negative Nancy.

"His magic stick thing," A beautiful explanation from the one and only Felicity Smoak.

"Uh, Staff of Horus," Carter chimed in.

"Well, it's protected by some kind of energy field. I couldn't lay a finger on it,"

"Maybe wear mittens next time?" Felicity suggested, and I chuckled. 

"What if we made some sort of insulated gauntlets?" Caitlin proposed.

"Ooh, yeah, yeah, yeah the magnetic shielding could disrupt the.." Cisco tried to figure out the word.

"Staffs magnetic polarity" Cisco agreed with Felicity's choice of wording. 

"Well, while the geek squad works.." I felt offended by Oliver's choice of words.

"Heard that, honey." Felicity interrupted, rightfully so.

"While they work to get the staff away from Savage, we need to know everything there is to know about him," Oliver said as we walked into the other room with Thea, Diggle and some blonde women.

"Well, I googled 'reincarnated nut jobs' and came up with nothing" Thea joked, as she spoke towards Oliver.

I decided to introduce myself to the blonde since it seems we shall be working together "Hey, don't think we have met, I'm Sam aka Bolt,"

"I'm Laurel, Thea has spoken nothing but positives since you guys met so I'm sure we will get along," She smiled warmly and put her hand out to shake. I did shake it and then took a seat next to her on the couch.

"Uh, Kendra and I would be the reincarnated nut jobs. Savage is merely immortal." Carter corrected.

"Merely?" Laurel said, giving me a weird glance.

"Welcome to the new normal," Thea announced.

"Normal's definition is seemingly changing every day," I moaned, glancing up at Barry.

"Anyone who's been around for 4,000 years should leave a trail. I'll check with ARGUS. See if they have anything on him." Diggle said as he pulled out his phone.

"Uh, Laurel and I can check police reports and stuff like that." Oliver nodded at Thea's suggestion, as the two of them walked out of the living room, leaving Oliver, Barry, Kendra, Carter and I to talk about ability training.
