"And that is the last of my stuff," Barry announced, his super speed making the unpacking process lightning fast. I watched as he zipped around, placing items in their new designated spots.

"This is officially Casa Smith-Allen!" I exclaimed with a mix of excitement and disbelief. Seeing his things alongside mine in our shared space was both exhilarating and surreal.

Barry collapsed onto the couch with a contented sigh. "I can't believe it, we're moving so fast, living together just six months in, but it just feels so right," he said, a genuine smile playing on his lips. His words echoed my sentiments perfectly.

As I sat on the couch, my gaze wandered around the apartment. Not much had changed in terms of its layout or style. A few of Barry's childhood photos adorned the walls, blending seamlessly with the ones I had already put up. It felt like a natural merging of our lives as if our pieces were always meant to come together.

The adjustment to living together was something I anticipated with a mix of excitement and a touch of apprehension. Two people sharing a space meant compromise and consideration, but I was more than willing to navigate those challenges for the sake of what we were building together.

"I'm just so happy," I confessed, my smile mirroring the warmth I felt in my heart.

Barry's expression softened as he looked at me, his eyes filled with a tenderness that made my heart flutter. "Me too, baby," he murmured, his voice brimming with affection. He reached over and took my hand in his, our fingers interlocking comfortably.

At that moment, as we sat together in our shared apartment, I couldn't help but feel an overwhelming sense of contentment. The prospect of building a life together, one where we faced challenges and celebrated triumphs side by side, was a journey I was eager to embark on. And as we sat there, hand in hand, I knew that whatever adjustments lay ahead, they were all worth it for the happiness we found in each other's company.

We sat there for a while, simply enjoying the stillness of the moment. The apartment felt cosier with Barry's presence, and it was as if the space had transformed into a true home for both of us.

"You know," I began, breaking the comfortable silence, "I never really thought I'd find someone who could handle all the craziness that comes with my life."

Barry chuckled softly, giving my hand a reassuring squeeze. "Well, I've never really been known for taking the easy path. And honestly, I wouldn't want it any other way."

I turned to him, my gaze locking with his. His green eyes held an intensity that made my heart race. "Thank you for always being there, Barry. For being my rock, even in the face of all the challenges we've faced."

He leaned in, placing a gentle kiss on my forehead. "I'll always be here, Sam. Through the ups and downs, the crazy meta-villains, and everything in between."

I felt a warmth spread through me at his words. It was a feeling of security and love that I hadn't fully experienced before. With Barry by my side, I knew that no matter what life threw at us, we could face it together.

"You know, the adjustment period might have its challenges," he said, a playful grin tugging at his lips, "but I have a feeling we'll make it work."

I couldn't help but smile back at him. "Absolutely. We're a team, after all. And I feel so much safer with you around,"

"I'm glad you can now be comfortable in your place, the security stuff I've installed should alert us if Zoom tries to enter the apartment, and If he does I'll always be here to protect you,"
