"Pinapaasa ka lang 'yan, Rian!" Kaja yelled loudly in our group video call.

"Hindi naman ako umaasa," I said but I can't stop smirking after I told them about Zamiro and his actions lately.

"Rian and her top 10 jokes that she can tell about herself. Yeah, keep being delulu, girl," si Primo habang kanina pa nagpapalit palit ng mga fun filters.

Humalakhak ako. "I thought you guys supported me and Zamiro, huh?" then my brows shot up.

"Noon 'yon dahil hindi naman kayo close. At ngayon... malandi ka! Kung hindi pa kayo nakita ni Cash na magkasama sa mall, hindi namin malalaman na sa inyo na pala siya nakatira!"

I giggled but pouted in the end.

"How can I tell you if you guys are all busy? Ngayon na nga ulit tayo nakapag video call, oh! We all live in the same city but it feels like we live in different countries," I said, sulking.

Hindi na ako nakipagtalo pa kay Zamiro. Somehow his words lightened up my mood and eased the tension in my chest. It feels... reassuring.

He tilted his head when I tried to hide my smirk. Umirap ako kunyari ay naiirita pa rin. Then I caught him staring at me with amusement.

"Fine. Let's just eat. But I will pay this time," I hardened my voice.

Akala ko ay magmamaktol siya patungkol doon pero tumango rin siya sa huli. "Oo, dahil wala na akong pera," ani Zamiro.

"Then why did you pay for my salon and makeup?" I asked while we started walking towards Max's restaurant.

He only gave me a quick glance and didn't answer me. Kukulitin ko pa sana siya kaso nang makapasok na sa restaurant ay nagsimula na kaming umorder. And when the food arrived and we were settled, I asked him again with the same question.

"Why did you pay for my salon and shopping, Zamiro? I got my own card and allowance."

"Then keep and save it," he answered with a bored tone.

"I'm the one who is supposed to tell you that! You work hard for your own then you suddenly pay for my luho? What is this? Why?"

I need answers from him because my head is getting bigger if this continues. I need something to shake up myself from delusions. Ayoko mag assume! Pero parang...

"Because I can pay. Kasama mo ako so I will pay," simpleng sagot niya lang na para bang normal lang iyon.

I tsked. Nag angat siya ng tingin sa akin. His brows shot up.

"Pero sabi mo kanina wala ka ng pera dahil pinagbayad mo na sa akin!"

"May card ka kamo kaya may pangbayad naman tayo ng kakainin ngayon. Let's stop talking and start eating."

"I'm not your girlfriend, Zamiro," paalala ko sa kanya at pati na rin sa sarili.

"You are a girl and my friend," ngisi niya.

I immediately got it. Bumalik na naman siya sa pangangasar kong girlfriend niya si Celestine dahil sa babae ito at kaibigan niya. I licked my lower lip and shook my head.

"Ganito ka pala sa mga kaibigang babae mo? Galante ka? Baka wala ka na naipon dahil sa sobrang dami nila."

Damn you, Cariazo! Ang landi mo!

"I'm only this towards you, Miss," he said huskily.

I froze. Not expecting that. Ano raw? Ganito lang siya sa akin? Bakit? Dapat na ba ako mag assume?
