This request goes to Allytauber2410. Request: Can you do the tapes of the Welcome Home when Wally Darling was recording it where Little Y/N was there with everyone?
Respond: Honestly, I was debating if I should or shouldn't, but I have to thank you for giving that push of encouragement. So yes I will, but it will spilt in parts. This will contain spoilers for those who are willing to find tapes in Welcome Home page. If you don't want to be spoiled it best to turn away now and come back later or forever hold your peace! Rest of you readers (including those who don't care about spoilers) enjoy! :D ~MadCat

You and Wally are at Poppy's house, helping her to knit the yarn to make scarves, sweaters and blankets. You, Poppy and Wally are knitting peacefully. While you and Poppy are knitting, Wally seems to zone out as if he's not mentally there. You listen to Poppy's humming while knitting, suddenly the door slams open causing you to jump a little, turning your head to the door while Poppy lets out a yelp.
"Delivery here, I've got a delivery here for one Ms. Partridge! Courtesy of Howdy's Dependable Door-to-Door-to-Door Delivery service!" Howdy announced walking in.
"Oh!" Poppy sighed in relief, "oh my feathers, Howdy, you frightened me!"
"Terribly sorry, ma'am, suppose I shoulda knocked," Howdy responded.
"A knock will be nice, instead of walking in scary me and Poppy like that," you mumbled as you continued knitting minding your own business.
"Oh, no, no, that would've frightened me too," Poppy said, causing you to give Poppy a concerned look. "Oh, is that my order of yarn? Thank you!"
"It sure is, Poppy!" Howdy said proudly, "hot off the shelves, just the way you like 'em." There was a moment of silence, until Howdy saw a lot of yarn laying all over the floor, but hadn't noticed you or Wally yet. "Boy, looks like you already got a horde that'd make a dragon jealous! Whatcha need even more yarn for? Not that I'll down a sale, heh-heh."
"Oh, just working on some scarves and sweaters and such," Poppy replied, "I want everyone in the neighborhood to have something warm to wear when winter comes along. It feels like these changing seasons keep sneaking up on me."
"Ha, I hear that," Howdy replied, looking back at the yarn. "Not enough daylight to get everything done. Course, it helps to have an extra pair of hands!" Howdy laughs at his own joke.
You can't help but let out a laugh at his cheesy jokes. Of course, Howdy's jokes aren't as cheesy as Barnaby's jokes. Like it or hate it, you can appreciate both of them being around trying to light up the atmosphere at times.
"Hah... seems like you know that already, though," Howdy said, looking at you and Wally, "I can see you've recruited an extra pair of your own today!"
"Howdy!" you greeted him by waving.
Howdy laugh and waves back at you.
"Oh, y-yes!" Poppy said, "thank you again for your help dear and thank goodness for it. I was worried I was going to get all tangled up with all these colors of yarn!"
"Hmm," Howdy said, rubbing his chin for a bit, "I can see why. It's a real risk!"
"And it's not fun to untangle them all," you commented, "I have to do it a couple of times because [insert family member] can't put it away nicely."
"I-" Poppy paused a bit with a worried look, "i-it is?"
"Well, sure!" Howdy replied, "but lucky for you, I think I might have something to help." Howdy grabs something out. "Behold!" he said as it made a sound, scaring Poppy in the process. "No no, nothing to fear here!"
"What is that?" you asked with a look of curiosity.
"What you're looking at is a bona-fide yarn spinner," Howdy replied, "perfect for keeping all your extra neatly spooled up!"
"Cool," you said watching Howdy showing it off.
"Safe, effective and no pesky batteries or electricity to fret over!"
Your face is filled with awe.
"Oh, well that- that does sound helpful, doesn't it," Poppy said.
"Sure does! Here, tell you what," Howdy said, causing you and Poppy to listen in closely, "as an extra-special deal for an extra-special customer, you can give 'er a whirl! No strings attached!"
You're about to play with it, but Poppy stops you worrying that it might hurt you or you might get hurt while messing with it.
"Well, no strings but the yarn, that is, ha HA!" Howdy said, while Poppy is stammering and trying to get you to sit back down. "Well, I've already overstayed my welcome," Howdy said, as he headed toward the door. "Got a whole shipment back at the shop I've gotta sign for."
"Oh, b-b-b-but," Poppy stuttered and struggled to find the right words.
"I'll check in on you and your new wonder-device," Howdy said.
"Well... alright then," Poppy said quietly.
"Next time I bring you an order, Poppy. Till then!"
"Bye Howdy!" you waved.
"Bye kiddo!" Howdy waved and walked off before Poppy could stop him.
You look at Poppy with a hint of concern, "are you okay Poppy?"
Poppy looks at you and quickly snaps out of her worried thoughts, "oh-oh, I don't know how to work these things, but-"
"But what?" you asked, looking at her with a puzzled look.
"Well, he was so insistent it'd be helpful," she looked at you and Wally, "do you think you can help me figure this thing out [NAME] and Wally?" Poppy asked, causing Wally to snap out of it once his name had been called.
