You and Wally are doing the play, along with Sally, and Julie. You are dressing up as a royal servant while Julie dresses like a queen.
"Alright!" Sally said, "Then the knight played by house will exit stage right! That if they show up to rehearsal. Then the maiden fair with golden hair greets her kingdom and asserts herself as the new queen of her domain." Sally set aside letting Julie take over the stage.
Julie clears her throat before getting her act, "as queen of this land, my first decree is to make hopscotch mandatory every day! Two pebbles, all the way up to twenty, no! Thirty spaces!"
Sally's face turned into confusion, "hopscotch?" she looked through the papers, "that's not in the script."
"That's Julie for you," you muttered.
"My second decree is filling our moat with scrumptious breenberry ice cream! Up to the top, enough for all of the citizens to enjoy!" Julie said.
'If she had the opportunity to take charge, I would totally vote for her. I want free ice cream,' you quietly thought to yourself.
"B-Breenberry?" Sally said with a puzzled look, "what is breen? Juliet Joyful!"
"For my third decree-"
"JULIE!" Sally exclaimed.
"SALLY!" Julie exclaimed.
"[NAME]!" you exclaimed.
"Those are not the words!" Sally said, "you've gone so far off the script that..." Sally paused, trying her best not to sound rude or anything, "that I'm not sure where we are anymore!"
"Ooh, don't worry," Julie reassured, "I know where we are. Silly! We're in the Kingdom of Sweets, remember?" You nod your head while Sally listens to Julie. "I'm the beautiful maiden fair with the golden hair- The princess of pastries!"
"Yes, yes," Sally said.
"Who is now the Queen of Pastries!" Julie chirped, "after a series of events where her father, the King of Cake, gets eaten by a big beastly billowing bear made of broccoli!" Julie let out a sad dramatic sigh, "oh Sally, that scene was so sad!"
"The story, Juliet, the story!" Sally said with a hint of sternness.
"Oh right, right!" Julie said, "so after I show him who's boss, I go back to my palace and take back my throne!"
"If you know the story this well, then why would the Queen want to fill her moat with breenberry ice cream or declare a hopscotch law after enduring a harrowing journey of self discovery and vengeance?" Sally asked.
Julie shrugs, "oh! I don't know! She just seems like a fun lady."
"She's got a point," you said to Sally.
Sally sighs as she facepalm, but manages to keep her composure, "Okay! I suppose indulging in the finer things in life would make her character more...well-rounded. Alright, Juliet, proceed."
"Thank you, Sally!" Julie said happily then cleared her throat, "for my third decree. You all have to listen to me recite my favorite colors in order of my most favorite color to my least favorite! Starting... now! Pink, yellow, red."
Sally sighs, while you're listening in trying to memorize Julie's favorite color to least favorite. "Such is the life of artistic collaboration," Sally said, turning her head to Wally, "wouldn't you agree, Walliford?"
