You and Wally are back at Frank's house and continue helping Frank with his gardening. Frank is having problems with the beetles that refuse to leave Frank's tomatoes alone. Frank has no choice but to call his friend Julie about the issue. While Frank is calling Julie, you quietly observe the beetles. They're quite colorful and fascinating to look at, even though they can be scary sometimes.
Frank has returned to the garden, continuing gardening along with you and Wally. Until you hear the cheerful hum. You turn your head to see Julie, causing you to smile.
"Hi Julie!" you waved.
"Hello [NAME], hello Frank, hello Wally!" Julie said, messing up your hair a little, causing you to giggle.
"Hello Julie," Frank replied.
"Hi Julie," Wally said.
Julie turned her head to Frank, "what's the problem Frank?"
While Frank is explaining to Julie, you notice that Wally is zoning out again. Maybe you should talk to him, but at the same time you decide to leave Wally be. So, you shrug it off and listen to the conversation between Julie and Frank. After all, you enjoy the conversation between Julie and Frank since they're best friends.
"So they won't leave my tomatoes alone and who am I to shoo them away?" Frank said, "isn't a beetle just as permitted to partake of my plants as I am, Julie?"
"Posilutely absotively, Frank!" Julie replied.
"Agree," you said. 'Unless someone is afraid of beetles, just like [insert a name].'
"But I've taken such good care of them," Frank said, "I read to them every day, I water them the perfect amount."
"Oh you do," Julie said and then playfully mimicking his annoyed tone, "you pour a whole book on them and read them a water on their little heads and everything."
You giggled while Frank let out an exasperated gasp.
"Julie, I'm serious," Frank said.
Julie giggled, "oh, I'm sorry, Frank, I'm only teasing. You know, if this is bothering you so much, you should have a little sign just for those bugs."
"Julie you're such a smart alec," you commented, causing Julie to giggled.
"It can say, 'Terrific Tomatoes! Look but don't touch!'" Julie said.
"Sounds like a terrific idea!" you commented, causing Frank to turn his head to you.
"You've been hanging out with Barnaby too long," Frank commented.
"Sorry Frank, I can't help it," you said.
Frank is very patient with you and Wally. Sometimes you accidentally slip out a few puns around Frank, which you apologize after. Unlike Barnaby, you don't go push Frank's buttons. You sometimes understand how Frank feels whenever someone tries to push your button until you get upset enough.
Frank looks at Julie with an amusement look, "what makes you think they're going to be able to read all that?"
"Well they've got big beautiful eyes, don't they?" Like big ol'..." Julie paused for a second to find a word, "saucer plate!"
"Oh Julie, don't be so rude," Frank said, "you wouldn't like it if they said that about you."
"Said what about me?" Julie asked, "how lovely my hair is? That I put just the right amount of polish on my horns?"
"No," Frank replied, "more like, 'that Julie Joyful with her nose like an orange!'"
"Oh?" Julie laughs, while you watch the scene with the amusement look on your face. "If they said that, they'd also probably say, 'Oh that Frank Frankly with that banana on his face!'"
"Banana?!" Frank exclaimed, causing you to laugh and Frank let out a laugh as well. "Well if they're going to be so rude in my garden, maybe it's best they don't get to partake of any more tomatoes then!"
"That's right!" Julie cheered and giggled.
"Agree!" you giggled.
"Well. How Are we going to keep them out?" Julie asked.
"Maybe Howdy's got something in his shop," you suggested.
"Good idea [NAME]!" Julie said.
"Oh, Howdy is more inclined to sell us canned laughter, than he is to sell us something actually useful," Frank said.
'Well... he's not wrong,' you thought to yourself, 'but Howdy's store is the only store where we can get the stuff that we need. Sure, I questioned his methods at times, but Howdy isn't that bad. He can be funny! Especially when Barnaby is around.'
"Besides," Frank commented, "I don't think he liked my rendition of The Flea and The Fly."
"Oh don't you fret," Julie said, patting Frank on the back, "I'm sure we can come up with a wonderful joke between the four of us! Isn't that right, Wally?" Julie asked, turning her head to Wally.
