Chapter 13 Jax

*This chapter will be written in Jax's POV*

Honestly, I had no idea what to tell her. What to say that will definitely sell myself to her. If it was any other girl, I'm pretty sure I wasn't even going to have a hard time. But it was different and she wasn't any other girl.

" Well what do you wanna know about me, Thea?"

" If it were up to me, nothing. But since you practically threatened me to ask, I might as well."

" Oh so you're only doing this because I told you I wouldn't stop calling?"

" Yes!"

" Are you sure?"

" Yes I'm sure!"

" Well, since you don't know what you wanna know. I'll just let you on on what you're missing. My face is sooo cute ,you'd love to look at it. Trust me anything else you've heard about can't compare."

I was trying to get a laugh out of her. I had to make her loosen up. She sure did, she laughed and said," Thank God I'm blind. I'm sure your face is really annoying and I'd get tired of seeing it everyday."

" Thea! You hurt my feelings. Ouch!" I made the point of faking a knife stabbed in my hurt.

" Well now I know another thing to add to my list. Annoying."

" What was on the list already?

She didn't respond.

" C'mon Thea! What was on the list already?"

" Everything I hate about you!"

"Hate is such a strong word!"

She still didn't respond, maybe my approach was too bleak. Another strategy!

" I'm not always annoying and everything on your list, I'm okay once you get to know me. Some of my friends..."

" You have friends?"

" Yes Thea. I have friends. What? Is it so hard to believe?"

" Actually it is, if you have friends, why don't you bother them instead?"

" Good question, because I like you!"

I smiled at my response, I knew she was probably going crazy thinking about what to say. If she doesn't, she's just going to ignore it.

" You like me?"

" Yes Thea. I do!"

I wasn't playing with her anymore. I did like her, everything about her felt right. She was the most beautiful person I had ever met, and I'm not just saying that but she was. I liked her aura too. I liked that she was independent, that she had thoughts and opinions of her own. She faced everyday head on. I liked the way she smiled, I wanted to see her smile more often. I wanted to be her eyes in this world. I wanted to give her everything she didn't see through me.

" Jax, I really think you're confused. Are you sure you didn't hit your head somewhere and.."

" Is it so hard for you to believe that someone in this world is capable of loving you?"

" I just don't think anyone can love me. I'm sorry but you don't even know me Jax."

" Then allow me to get to know you!"

" No. Jax, I really don't feel like..."

" Like you can be loved? All the self-loathing made you think you're not."

" Just don't! Nothing you say will change my mind Jax. I'm sorry but No! And bye!"

She was about to hang up on me.

" Wait, I'm not going to try and be your friend Thea. I just don't work like that. I don't do the whole from 'friends to lovers' thing."

" I don't want you to be my friend either."

" Fine, cause the only thing I want you to want is me when I mean something to you. I want to touch you and I want you to feel your skin burn..."

" Jax, I won't ever feel that way about you. I'm really sorry."

" Okay!"

" Okay?"

" Yes, okay! By the way, I never felt any sympathy for you because I feel like your blindness doesn't stop you from going for things you want. That of all the people in this world who feel stuck, you Thea can actually bring light into their lives. There are more blind people in this world than you."

" Why are you telling me this?"

" If I don't then who will. Surely you don't think Bryce will."

Both of us were silent for a while.

" Good night Thea!"

" Good night Jax!"

You really don't think I'm just gonna let her go ,do you? Now operation get the girl, begins!
