Eva, too, was up early, dancing to the rhythm of the "Polonaise," feeling the essence of spring in the air. The broken shower couldn't deter her spirits either. As she tried to hum and brush her teeth simultaneously, she accidentally choked on toothpaste and clumsily dropped her toothbrush, soap dish, and mouthwash in the bathtub. The ruckus caused by her morning antics woke her "mischievous inner hedgehog." She believed that every girl had one of these little creatures lurking within, trying to spoil the mood at the most inconvenient moments. But Eva, a believer in fairy tales since childhood, knew better than to let it ruin her day.
"Don't listen to his voice," she reminded herself, "no matter what he says about wrinkles, gray hairs, or extra kilos. All of that pales against the backdrop of your other virtues, just like the snorting hedgehog himself with his fu-fu-fu."
Refocusing her thoughts, Eva continued to get ready, eagerly awaiting Konstantin's arrival. Just as she was about to head out, the pesky hedgehog emerged from its slumber, voicing its discontent with the morning bustle and asking if Konstantin had already run off.
Ignoring the hedgehog's remarks, Eva carried on, knowing that today was going to be a delightful day at the cinema with her favorite person.
