I finally looked up at him snapping out of my little ‘freak out’ session, “Saria?” he said looking at me. I can’t believe what he had told the doctor, would I stay with him? Should I? “Saria is everything okay?” he said scooting closer to me. I finally answered a little confused, “What was all that about, me staying here…. with you?” He looked down as his face turned bright red, he looked up to meet my gaze and said softly, “Well it’s just, I’m worried about you and I want to make sure you’re fine. And I’m going to be staying here for another two weeks or so, so I figured we could….you know get to know each other, I mean if you want to.” Oh god, I don’t know what to say, I mean I’d love to stay with him but I don’t think that would be the best thing. I mean he’s Michael Jackson, people will be all over him and I’ll just get in the way. I got up and walked to the balcony hoping to get some fresh air, “I don’t know Michael, I think I’ll just be in the way…” he walked up by me and gave me the biggest puppy eyes possible, “Please Saria, stay with me, you could never get in the way of anything, and I would really enjoy the company of such a beautiful woman,” he added on giving me a cheesy smile. I felt my face get hot and red, I tried to cover it but I’m sure he noticed it. “Just friends right? I don’t think I can handle anything serious right now.” I said looking down at the street below us trying to avoid his eyes, "just friends.” he said leaning over the railing. We sat on the balcony for awhile eating the breakfast he had ordered and watching the people below us and just talking about random stuff. It got quiet for awhile so I decided I’d say something I needed to get off my chest. “Michael?” I said fiddling around with my hair. “Yes?” he said leaning against the rail looking at me. God he was cute, but I can’t…..I just can’t….It hurts too much to think of being treated like I was last night. I began fighting back tears as I managed to say, “never mind.” He looked at me confused and noticed a tear escape my eye. He leaned over and wiped it from my face, “no really what’s the matter, you can tell me.” He said softly. “I just…..I want to say I’m sorry about this morning, I didn’t mean to hurt you its just I thought you was those……those guys. I thought they were going to hurt me more.” I started crying more as I pushed the last words out. He came closer to me wrapping his arms around me, “don’t feel bad, it wasn’t your fault. I understand you were just trying to protect yourself. I’m sorry you had to go through any of that.” He said as he held me in his warm embrace. At that moment I felt so much better, what would have happened if I would have hurt him? I would have been so upset with myself. I felt the tears dry up as he comforted me, I couldn’t believe any of this was happening to me. I looked at the sky and noticed the sun was above us, “what time is it?” I asked looking up at his face. He looked down at his watch, “oh it’s about 1 in the afternoon, why?” “Oh I was just wondering. Do you think I could take care of some things today?” I asked. “Sure what do you need?” he said standing up and helping me up as well. “Well I kind of need to get a tow truck for my car, it's still sitting outside of the arena.” He looked at me with terror in his eyes, “is that what was wrong yesterday? You were having car troubles?” “Well kinda, it’s a long story..” I said not really wanting to re-live yesterday. “Okay well…..if you ever need to talk about it, I’m here for you.” He said hugging me. “Ok, thanks,” I said sitting down on the bed. “What else do you need to do?” he asked filling the silence. “well…if I’m going to stay with you for two weeks, I’m going to need more than what I’m wearing now,” I said smiling at him. His face lit up in a smile at me acknowledging his request for my presence, “do you want to go shopping, I could take you?” he said happily. “No that’s fine; I have clothes back at my place.” I said walking to the living room picking up my purse and keys.” “Um Saria, aren’t you forgetting something?” he said pointing at my keys. “Crap! I forgot about my stupid car!” I said kind of embarrassed. He got up laughing and grabbing some glasses, keys, and a hat, “come on I’ll take you.” “Okay thanks,” I said as we headed down the hall. “My pleasure,” he said putting on the hat and glasses, he gave me the cutest smile ever. God the things he can do to women. We got into the elevator and headed towards a sleek black car with tinted windows, “is that yours?” I said in shock. He looked at me and grinned, “Yeah, it’s the car I go out in public in whenever I want to get away and drive myself.” We got into the car and drove off, I told him where I lived and he made his way to my house. After 10 minutes of listening to Michael sing along with the radio and laughing, we made it to my drive way. “This is it,” I said as he came to a stop. I looked at him and he sat there as I moved to unbuckle, “you going to come in or just sit out here?” I said being a little sassy. “Do you want me to go in?” he laughed sliding his glasses down his nose, peeking over the top of them giving me a swift wink. I opened the door and looked back at him, “well I’d feel a lot safer,” I teased. “Okay I’ll go with you and keep you safe,” he said poking fun back at me. We walked up the sidewalk and into the font door. He stopped in the entryway and looked around. “You can just chill out here in the living room if you want to,” I said heading to my bedroom. “Okay I’m just going to stay here,” he called back from the living room. I quickly grabbed a bag from my closet and just started shoving random articles of clothing into it. I went into the bathroom and grabbed my makeup and hair utensils. I went back into my room and grabbed a few pairs of shoes and threw all of it into the bag. I headed down the hall when I noticed Michael wasn’t in the living room, he’d found his way into my music room. It wasn’t much, just a spare room I had and decided to put my bass and the other instruments in, I also had a little desk with a pile of music scores and song lyrics lying all over it. “I see you found my secret room,” I said walking in behind him. He turned around and looked at me in shock, “you play all of these?” “Yes, when I have the time. I don’t have as much time to dedicate to my music as I wish.” I said looking around the room at all my babies; my bass, saxophone, clarinet, piano, drums, and viola. “Wow girl, you got some talents!” he said smiling at me. “Well, its nothing compared to your talents that’s for sure,” I said trying to get off the topic of me. I’m kind of weird when it comes to compliments, even more when they’re directed towards me. “Oh no, you’re being too modest, but thank you, I’m glad you approve.” He said smiling at me. He noticed my desk and started walking towards it, oh god who knows what kind of writings were sitting on that desk, I can’t remember the last thing I was working on, but my songs were a little out there. He picked up a sheet and looked at it then up to me. “You write? Do you sing too?” he asked looking at me in awe. “Some times,” I said looking down feeling like I had been put on the spot. “You’re gonna have to sing for me sometime,” he said putting down the music and winking at me while biting his bottom lip. He walked towards the doorway picking up my bag for me. “You ready to go?” he asked. “Yeah, I think so.” I said following him out of the room. We were back in his car heading to the hotel, when he looked me in the eyes and said smiling, “thank you for doing this, I’m so happy to have you here with me, I really am the luckiest guy in the entire world right now.” I didn’t know what to say, he’s such a freaking sweetheart, “You’re too adorable!” I said teasing him while pinching his cheek. His face went red and he smiled as he looked away. “No but really, thanks for everything your doing for me. I don’t know what I would have done if you wouldn’t have found me. I’m glad I can just make it up a little to you.” I said smiling back at him. We continued our  drive back to the hotel.
