Saria’s p.o.v.
“Saria babe, its time to get up..” I could make out the voice as my eyes kept clamped shut. I felt him run his soft warm fingers on the side of my face probably wiping my crazy hair out of my face. I groaned adjusting myself. He chuckled and continued to stroke my cheek singing softly, “sun comes up on this new morning, shifting shadows a song bird sings, and if these words could keep you happy, I’d do anything. And if you feel alone I’ll be your shoulder, with a tender touch you know so well. Somebody once said it’s the soul that matters, but baby who could really tell when two hearts belong so well.” At this point I had opened my eyes and focused my sight on my soon-to-be husband as he sat up against the headboard stroking my cheek, smiling and singing. I swear I was the luckiest person in the world; Michael was absolutely perfect in every single way. He sat there in his pajama pants, a white v-neck showing off a little of his caramel chest, curly wild hair pulled back into a messy pony tail, and his magical coffee eyes soulfully trapping me in the way I knew so well. He faded out singing and just continued to look down at me with a warm smile; I sat up and cuddled into his chest as he held me. “By far the best way to be woken up.” I sighed in his chest taking in his familiar scent. He kissed my forehead and continued to hold me, “You know what we have to do today since we only have a little over a week till the big day?” I sighed, even though we weren’t having a massive wedding there was still so much to do. After Michael proposed on Christmas and we decided to get married on the day we met, January 5, we had about a week and a half to invite people, get a dress and a tux, and decorate Neverland up a little for the occasion. I sighed, “What do we have to do today?” He smiled while rubbing my arm up and down, “Well today we have the bridal shop shut down to go pick out your dress and my tux.” “Oh fun,” he chuckled as he got up and started pulling me out of bed, “Come on sleepin’ beauty get out of bed. You go take your shower and I’ll go make us some breakfast. We leave at 10 to head out shopping so you better get up and get ready.” “Alright, I’m up.” He gave my butt a little pat off towards the bathroom with a wink as he made his way to the door. I took a quick shower and washed up quickly then threw on some jeans, a v-neck, and my sandals. I quickly did my makeup and then threw my hair into a messy French braid bun. I headed down the stairs and could hear Michael singing like a morning song bird in the kitchen. “Smells good baby,” I said walking in behind him and wrapping my arms around his waist. He continued to flip pancakes, “Because you’re marrying the ultimate cook.” He turned around with a plate stacked of pancakes and bacon and kissed me on the forehead. We sat down and ate up everything, and then he headed upstairs to get ready. I put away the leftovers and begin cleaning the kitchen when I felt someone put their hands over my eyes. “Guess who?” his voice tickled my ear as he stood right up against my back. “Hmmmm. Hey Ricky how’re you doing sexy?” “What?” Michael threw his hands down and I turned around laughing, “I’m just kidding baby, I knew it was you.” I kissed his little pouty lips as he wrapped his arms around me. I laid my head on his chest and breathed in a sigh of contentment. “Dance with me,” he whispered o so sexily and we begin to sway in the middle of the kitchen to the non-existent music both of us seemed to hear. Michael’s phone rang and we stopped for a minute, he pulled it out of his pocket still holding me ever so close. “Hello,” he looked down at me and gave me a wink, “Yeah okay thanks, we’ll be right out.” He put his phone back into his pocket and took my hand leading me out of the kitchen. “The limo is hear to take us to the shop, you ready?” I could feel a little bit of nerves building up, it kind of hit in reality that I was about to get a wedding dress which means I’m going to get married. “Yeah, I’m ready.” He grabbed his sunglasses and fedora and took my hand as we walked out of the house just as the limo pulled up. The driver got out and opened the door allowing me and Michael to get in. As soon as the door opened some people begin to file out and came running at me and Michael, he looked at me and smiled, “Surprise.” Shock and pure happiness filled me as I realized that my father, Abby, Raquel, and Michael’s mother and sisters were all here. “Saria, girl you’re looking good!” “Oh my god I missed you so much,” “Welcome to the family baby, just call me mamma kay,” “Girl you so beautiful, I’m so glad peter finally found someone to love,” and last but not least, “Hey sweetheart, I’ve missed you.” I could feel tears brimming out of my eyes, everyone who was apart of and important to me had come together with a new important part of my life. Michael stood still holding my hand and talking to a few of them when I whispered to him, “How’d you do this?” “Well after a few of our talks about our closest friends and family, I decided it would be nice to get to know them and have them here for such an important event.” After that one call with Abby, I had finally called my father and told him what was going on and Abby filled Raquel in on it too, the only thing they really didn’t know because it was still so new was that me and Michael was getting married. I guess he filled them in on that when he called and invited them out here. At that point we decided the guest would be just our family and a few really close friends. “Thank you so much baby,” at that point I was crying a little bit. He smiled and wiped the joyful tears away, “Anything for you, my love.” I quickly kissed him and turned my attention back to everyone else hoping they weren’t all staring at us. I caught Janet and Abby giving us the ‘I saw that’ smirk, but it seemed to mostly go unnoticed. We all hopped into the limo and headed off, Michael’s mother and sisters, Abby, and Raquel were going to go with me to get the dresses on the bride side of the boutique while Michael and my father were going to meet up with Michael’s brothers and get fitted for the suits on the groom side. As soon as we got there we spilt up and were both on a mission. All the women begin picking through dozens of gowns and asking me what I thought, it was hectic because you have Janet and Abby with these daring modern dresses and then Mamma Kay just looking through quietly, Raquel, La Toya, and Rebbie throwing out all kinds of styles and really none of them just caught me eye. I sighed feeling overwhelmed when one of the dresses hanging by itself against the wall caught my eye. I walked over and took it down examining it, it was absolutely perfect! It was a strapless sweetheart neckline gown that hung lightly as there was no major skirt, just simple lace. It was not over the top but its elegance spoke for itself. I smiled holding it up when someone from behind spoke up, “It’s a very beautiful gown, my son will love to see you in it.” I turned around and there Katherine was, I smiled holding back tears and hugged her, “Thank you, I see where Michael gets he sweetheart side from.” She smiled up at me, “You’re going to make a beautiful bride and a wonderful wife.” Her words fluttered my heart as I fought back more tears and whispered almost inaudibly, “thank you.” I tried the dress on and they made alterations for it and then we begin searching for my bridesmaid’s dresses, Michael and I had decided that his sisters, Abby, and Raquel would be the bridesmaids and his brothers would be his groomsmen. We found each dress consisting of the wedding colors of gold, black, white, and red. This was going to be wonderful, his sisters and mother already accepted me and Janet said that their brothers would be excited to have a new sister-in-law.
Michael's p.o.v.
It happens to be that Saria’s father was the recording technician that accompanied me about a year or so ago so we knew each other quite well and he was accepting of me and his daughter getting married, it made it all the more easy. We actually had my wardrobe designer come in and do the alterations and changes to the simple suits we found so it would be more of our style. Most of them actually stuck to simple and classic suits but I wanted my done up a little with sequins on the white jacket with my signature black armband, a plain white dress shirt, one of my gold belts, and textured black pants. (Grammy 1989 outfit). After we had all the suits and dresses picked out we all headed back to Neverland to throw a little celebration party. I thought it would also be a good chance for my family to really get to know and get comfortable with Saria and her dad and friends. I sat in the limo with my arm around my bride-to-be’s waist as she talked happily with my mother and sisters and her friends jumping in and causing fits of laughter over fun memories from her childhood. It felt good to see my babygirl happy as always. Her father sat smiling warmly at the both of us and it just made me all the more happy that he accepted us and didn’t try to pull us apart. God I don’t even know what I would have done if either her father or my mother would have disapproved of us, it would have shattered our hearts. We got back to the house and the rest of my family met us there to have a nice dinner and an evening full of laughter and wonderful conversation. Everyone seemed to get along and my family made her feel like she was already a part. Joseph was the only fierce feeling in the room, he would give looks with cold eyes, but at least he kept his comments to himself. After it started getting late and my family decided to head home, I showed Mr. Hart, Abby, and Raquel to their own personal cabins. I figured I would give them their space since they would be staying till the wedding. I headed back to the house with Saria, our hands locked as we strolled down the path back to the house under the moonlight. “Thank you baby, for all you’ve done for me.” She snuggled into my arm as I smiled and kissed her on the forehead. “Anything for my babygirl.” We made it to our bedroom and got ready for bed. I was in the bathroom brushing my teeth, “Michael I absolutely adore your mother, she is so sweet. And your sisters, my god they’re wonderful. Janet is so spunky its amazing.” I smiled, “Well I’m glad you all got along real well, I knew my family would love you, but not as much as I do.” She smiled, “I love you Michael.” I kissed her as she wrapped her arms around my shoulders. Next thing I knew we were in bed Saria practically wrapped around me as we continued to passionately make out, if I hadn’t realized what was happening one thing would have led to the next. After pulling away for a breath I smirked grazing my hand down her check and rested my hand there, “we should probably cool it or we’ll end up having our honeymoon now.” She blushed and hid her face in my neck; I chuckled and ran my fingers through her hair as she stayed snuggled there. She placed small sweet kisses on my neck and it sent shivers through me, god I love her so much. After awhile she curled up in my arms and fell asleep, me following behind shortly after holding the love of my life.
