Michaels p.o.v.

I was sitting in the main living room looking through a few of the books I had put in there when I heard the sound of heels making their way down the main stairs. I turned around to see such a stunning Saria; my heart skipped a beat in that moment. I had picked out her dress myself to match the outfit I had on, I thought our matching was absolutely adorable. She looked down the stairs at me as I made my way to the bottom; I found it hard to move myself from her gaze. She pulled some of her curls behind her ears as she looked down at her feet, I could see the meek smile spread across her face as she turned slightly red in the cheeks. “Saria, you look absolutely beautiful tonight.” “Thank you Michael, you look pretty handsome yourself.” She said as she reached the last stair right in front of me, she was just at my height and I stared deeply into her eyes with a huge smile on my face. At that moment I had to fight every urge to just kiss her right then and there. I realized I was taking a while so I cleared my throat, “you ready to celebrate?” “I’m ready when you are,” she replied locking her arm in mine. We headed to the dinning room which I had specially set up with a few candles, dim lighting; the perfect setting for what I wanted to ask her tonight.

Saria’s p.o.v.

My goodness, the things this man does to me. I walked down the stairs and the whole time I had to focus on my steps so I wouldn’t trip all the way down, I was so mesmerized with how beautiful he looked and how he was looking at me. I realized how much I really like Michael; I think I might be falling in love with him, of course I already have! We walked into the dinning room and it was set very romantically and I just couldn’t help but hope that tonight something changed between me and Michael. He stood behind my chair and pulled it out for me and then pushed it back in with ease. He sat in the seat across from me and smiled widely as he looked up at me. We talked small talk most the time; what we liked about our visit to the orphanage today, this amazing new house that Michael now owned, or the occasional complements of how one another looked. There was one time we both sat looking into each others eyes for the longest time, it wasn’t awkward though. He opened his mouth like he was going to say something, than he closed it and smiled sheepishly at me. I guess he finally mustered up courage to try again because he opened his mouth and begin speaking. “Saria, there’s something I’ve been wanting to talk to you about for a long time now, I wa-” than he was cut off by the chef who entered the room with our food. Michael turned a bright red as the chef sat the plates down in front of us both. We ate in mostly silence and I couldn’t help but feel my heart sinking at the thought that he might of asked me what I’ve been hoping for for so long now, and now he might not try again because he’s be afraid of being interuppeted or embarrassed again. After we finished dinner we decided to take a walk around the back yard as the sun was setting. I took my shoes off and carried them with one hand as Michael took my free one in his gentle grasp. We were laughing and having a good time for the most part, I became worried he was going to brush off what he wanted to say earlier like it never happened. I was listening to Michael’s sweet giggle as I looked up and noticed some bright lights emerging from in the distance as the sun finally gave its last ray of light off. “Hey Mikey, what’s that over there?” I said pointing with my shoes in hand. “Oh that’s the amusement park I had built for the sick children I plan on having over here every once in awhile, wanna go check it out?” he said nonchalantly. “Of course!!” he giggled at my excitement as we took off running towards the rides. “Wow this is absolutely amazing!” I said as we stood before the gigantic rides. He laughed sweetly at my inner child that was once again showing, “what do you wanna ride?” my face lit up as I looked around at all the choices. “Let’s go on the Ferris wheel!”  We got on and Michael had the rides operator stop it so we could stay at the top and enjoy the view for a little longer. I started feeling a little chilly and I guess Michael noticed because next thing I knew he had his suit jacket off and around my shoulders. I smiled at his hands as he ran them up and down my arms to try to warm me up again. “Thank you Michael, I don’t think I can ever tell you thank you enough for all you’ve done for me. You’re a very sweet, kind, gentle, loving, selfless man. I adore that about you.” He smiled at me as I looked deeply into his loving chocolate brown eyes. “I cant tell you how sweet I think it is that you’ve decided to make so much of your home a part of this wonderful, magical place that disadvantaged children can call a piece of heaven from their hell. You truly are an angle from above.” He pulled me into a tight hug, “Saria, you have no idea how good it feels to hear someone say that. I just want to give back what I was so lucky to receive, I feel the best way to give back is to help those in need. I have a special place in my heart for the children of the world who don’t have a good home or the proper care for their sickness. I just wish to be able to help as many of the children as I can, I want to make sure no child ever has to loose their childhood like I once did,  I don’t wish that on anyone…not even my enemy.” I hugged back firmly and giggled, “Mikey, you’re too dang sweet to have any enemies, who could ever hate you.” He pulled away and smiled at me. I laid my head on his shoulder as I cuddled more into him and watched the stars appear in the night sky. “…..Saria, I have something I want to talk to you about…” oh my god, I hope it’s what I’ve been waiting for.

Michael’s p.o.v.

I tried asking her earlier and I was interrupted and too embarrassed to ask again at that moment. This moment with her cuddled into me just felt right, like now was the perfect time to ask her. She slightly lifted her head up to look me in the eyes, “Yes, Michael?”  I sat up straight and took her hands into mine messing around nervously with her fingers. “Saria, for the longest time I’ve had certain feelings for a very special person to me. She came into my life a little unrepentantly but since she’s became apart of it, she’s saved me from the most deathly loneliness I’ve ever felt.” My words began just flowing out of my mouth exactly what I felt about her, “She’s such a wonderful, beautiful, caring, loving person and every time I think about her I find myself smiling at the thought of her beautiful smile. Butterflies form in my stomach just thinking about her laugh, and I just cant help but feel the strongest of feelings for her. I think I’ve fallen deeply in love with her and………and Saria, that girl is you. I’ve loved having you by my side everyday and I don’t know what I’d do if you ever left, I want you to stay here in Neverland with me… as my girl,” I said as I looked down kind of afraid to read the expression in her face. I felt her put her small delicate hand underneath my chin and raise it up, she smiled widely as she whispered into my ear, “Michael, you’ve had my heart for a long time now. I can’t tell you how happy I am to hear that you feel the same for me, of course I’ll be your girl. I’d be your anything as long as you stayed apart of my life.” I reached into my pocket and pulled out my grandmother’s ring. It was a simple gold band that formed into a delicate rose surrounded by a single crystal gem. “Saria, this is the ring my grandfather gave my grandmother when they first dated. She wore this ring until they finally married, I hope you’ll wear it till that point in our lives as well.” I slipped it onto her left index finger and it fit perfectly as if it were made for her. “Michael it’s absolutely beautiful, I love it. I love you as well; I can’t explain how happy I am to be able to say that I am the girlfriend of the most perfect, loving, caring man alive.” I pulled her into me more and held her angle-like face between my palms. “I love your more my love,” and in that moment I did something I’ve been wanting to for a long time now. I leaned in every so slowly and passionately kissed her. She begin kissing me back as I deepened the kiss more. I could feel the Ferris wheel make its way back down as we continued our kiss. I swear in that moment we kissed, I felt sparks fly up and down my core, like nothing I’ve ever felt before. I hope she felt it as well. We made our way back to the house hand in hand but this time as a couple. I was so glad I could finally say I have the woman of my dreams to call my own. It was getting late and we walked up the stairs as we made it to Saria’s door. I kissed her goodnight and started making my way to my door just a few feet away when I felt a tug on my hand. I looked back at Saria as she looked at me with a slight worried and nervous look. “Michael…. Could you stay with me, I’m still a little paranoid about sleeping alone.” I could tell the way she was fidgeting with her hair she was being completely honest. I smiled at the thought that I made my girl feel safe….my girl, she’s actually mine. God I still can’t believe it. I kissed her forehead, “Of course I can, I’m gonna go change into my pajamas and I’ll be right back. Okay?” she smiled sheepishly at me and nodded. She walked into her room and I practically ran to my room in a rush to get back to my Saria. The thought of her actually being my girl was going to need some getting use to. I threw on some silk pajamas and headed back to her room, I quietly opened the door and climbed in the bed and waited for her. I could hear the water going in the bathroom and just sat there and smiled as I thought ‘that’s my beautiful girlfriend in there,’ I saw the light go off under the door and Saria walk out into the dark. She made her way to the bed and climbed in snuggling into my chest as I pulled the cover over her as well, “Saria you have no idea how happy you’ve made me tonight. I am truly the luckiest guy to have you as my girl.” “Michael I think I’m the lucky one here. I’ve been through a lot of crappy situations in my life and I’m still kind of dealing with one at the moment, but I have the most caring, kind, loving, handsome man in my life. Michael I want you to know, no matter what happens between us in the future, I know I can count on you no matter what, and I want you to be the father figure my child looks up to.” I could feel her eyes glistening with tears as she said that and I couldn’t help but smile happily at her comment. I pulled her chin up and took her into another passionate kiss. After the kiss intensified we finally pulled away, I whispered against hers lips, “For all time baby.”
